At that point, we were forced out of our rental location due to new ownership and moved entirely into the space we own on Penman Rd. It’s been 6 years now, and things just keep getting better. We have 14 instructors, several styles of classes (including Pole tricks and choreography, heels, bellydance, aerial yoga, roller pole, strength and conditioning, burlesque, etc), an eclectic mix of students, and an amazingly supportive community of bad ass women (with a few great guys sprinkled in). Running a business hasn’t been easy—especially while managing endometriosis, a chronic, invisible illness I’ve lived with since my teens. It’s something I battle daily, even in the treatment room, where I often push through intense fatigue and pain that no one can see. After graduating in 2014, I relocated to North Carolina. It was a difficult adjustment since I no longer had family or my closest friends around. I began to work, and every job became a stage. My humor brought some good people into my life and helped create bonds that felt like family. I eventually began my comedy journey in late 2020 at the legendary Goodnights Comedy Club in Raleigh. After honing my craft across the state—performing in clubs, bars, and pubs—I built a reputation for delivering honest, hectic life stories and lessons through relatable, engaging, and hilarious performances.
