Story & Lesson Highlights with Hadassah Galante-Encaoua

Hadassah Galante-Encaoua shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Hadassah, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
My first 90 minutes are about aligning my mind and energy for the day ahead. I start with my Nespresso coffee, check the weather, and then hit the mat. With incense lit, I clear the static from my mind and experience the day come alive as the room gets lighter. I move through my morning yoga routine, sharpening my thoughts from dream state to laser focus, and end with a moment of gratitude before stepping into the day’s journey.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Hadassah. My yoga journey began in my twenties at the Integral Yoga Institute in Manhattan while I was studying at FIT. Yoga became a grounding force for me throughout my 30-year career in the fashion and design industry, helping me stay centered in a fast-paced world. After years of creating for other brands, my family and I launched FAB FOREVER, a yoga and lifestyle brand that brings together art, mindfulness, and modern edge. As a family, we each bring a unique perspective when designing or curating products, blending creativity, spirituality, balance, and purpose into everything we create. I’ve always been drawn to crystals, meditation, the gym, and expressive design. For me, balance isn’t quiet—it’s fierce, intentional, and full of energy. Through our brand, we want everyone to feel empowered to live boldly, beautifully, and in balance.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
My dad taught me the most about work. He’s always had a creative approach to everything he does and taught me the value of hard work, adaptability, and staying positive—even through difficult times. From an early age, I worked alongside my grandparents and my dad, learning firsthand from a true perfectionist. He showed me that it’s okay to be the first to arrive and the last to leave, as long as you give 200% without letting yourself be taken advantage of. Those lessons shaped who I am today—driven, creative, and committed—but also grounded enough to find peace with my performance and appreciate the journey.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I’m not sure I’d say anything to my younger self, because I truly believe in destiny. There may be different paths we could take, but the one we choose is the one we’re meant to experience. Every twist, challenge, and success has shaped me into the person, wife, mother, and business owner I am today. I don’t have regrets—everything I’ve done led me to my husband and to creating our son, our soul family. I am so honored to be part of their lives and to share this journey with them.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. How do you differentiate between fads and real foundational shifts?
After spending over 30 years in fashion and design, I’ve learned how to spot the difference between a fad and a true shift. Fads come and go—they’re loud, quick, and often surface-level. Foundational shifts, though, have depth. They’re rooted in meaning and reflect a genuine change in how people think, feel, and live.

With FAB FOREVER, we design with intention, not impulse. I’m drawn to what feels authentic and lasting—pieces that connect to energy, creativity, and purpose. When something continues to inspire and empower people beyond the moment, that’s when I know it’s more than a trend—it’s part of an evolution.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel the most at peace in the early morning, when the world is still quiet and it’s just me, my mat, and the soft scent of incense in the air. There’s something sacred about that calm before the day begins—no noise, no distractions—just space to breathe, stretch, and be fully present in the moment. It’s when I reconnect with myself and set the tone for everything that follows.

I also find peace during twilight, that magical in-between time when the light shifts and the day exhales. There’s power in that transition—it makes me feel grounded yet unstoppable, like anything is possible. Those moments remind me that peace and strength can exist together, and that balance is its own kind of freedom.
