Today we’d like to introduce you to Jarod Williams.
Hi Jarod, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am 18 years old, and the thought of doing photography only came to me I was 16. I was going to start doing it at that time, but one of my friends started doing photography before me, and I didn’t want to seem like I was copying him, so I didn’t plan on starting photography any time soon after that. But now, fast forward to November, I was watching a YouTube video at work, and it was saying something along the lines of ”do what you are most passionate about, and you will be successful at it with a lot of time and dedication.” So that’s what made me begin photography no matter what. And I’m looking to make 2023 the year where I grow as a photographer and what to see as a full-time job.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been smooth?
I’m still at the beginning of my journey, but it’s been smooth for the most part, but I’ll say the struggle is getting people to recognize you and support you.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a photographer and do photo shoots for social media, birthdays, events, etc. And I’ll say I specialize in editing pictures and what sets me apart from others is that I’m really easy to work with, and I will work hard to ensure you have the ideal and best picture for you.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
The first few pictures I have on my Instagram are taken with my phone, not a real camera, but I have a brand new camera, and my pictures will look way better.
