Hi Catherine, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
This business was built through an idea for beauty and wellness. I am a spiritual life coach and my sister is a cosmetologist. After I went through an experience with cancer, I and my sister developed an extreme connection for the importance of inner beauty and the natural ways of embracing ourselves through natural ways. My sister and I wanted to create something that both offers what our passions are.
We found the best business for us to start our journey. Daniel James Salon and Spa in Downtown is being in business for more than 25 + years offering the best quality hair services. We bought the business and we made it to be the identity of our project. Daniel James Salon and Spa represent the Aveda brand. We believe in Aveda for its ideals and respect for humanity and the world. We are 100% Vegan and support Breast Cancer by raising money every year.
We are very blessed to have a great talented team that keeps and respects our core of values. We don’t only offer salon and spa services but also yoga classes, meditation, reiki, crystal balancing, and much more. We have a beautiful Himalaya Salt room that helps with breathing and skin issues.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Just when starting the project our father died and we had to close it for one month. It was hard for us to promote wellness at that moment but we build back again by promoting free healing groups at our location. Help us to heal as a group. Our next challenge was Covid-19. 2020 was very hard for our clients, staff, and business. We had to adapt and modify through the process.
We are strong believers in overcoming obstacles through faith and effort. Our City, team, guest, and brand made us stay on our feet during Covid-19. We are very grateful for everyone who believes in us so we can continue offering what we love.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a Spiritual Life Coach and I help people to overcome emotional unbalances through self-healing and connection. I was born with the gift of clairvoyant and I have been practicing self-healing for more than 15+. That is my natural gift and I will do that for the rest of my life.
I also have an MBA in Business & Marketing. I also have a Brokers’ Company and I help others with theirs property investment.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Believe in what you do and whatever you do, do it with love and passion.
