Hi Bethany, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started shooting weddings in 2013 for free because I truly loved it and wanted to learn. I’ve never been someone who does this just for the money, I do it because I genuinely value life and the moments we don’t get back. My personal journey has made me deeply aware of how fast time moves, and that’s why every wedding I photograph is treated with the same care and importance, no matter what.
I’m always watching for more than the posed shots, I’m capturing the quiet moments, the in-between glances, the reactions, and the memories my couples may not even realize happened until they see them later. That’s what BEBO is built on: real moments, preserved forever.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not. It hasn’t been a smooth road, and the biggest struggle has honestly been the pressure that comes with photographing one of the most important days in someone’s entire life.
Early on, I shot a lot of weddings for free because I wanted to train myself to handle that level of responsibility. I didn’t want to just “take pretty photos” I wanted to be someone who could walk into a wedding day calm, confident, and prepared for anything.
Over time, that experience shaped me into the photographer I am now. I can step into a wedding and not only capture it beautifully, but also help make it feel stress-free, smooth, and genuinely enjoyable for my couples. Because when everything is happening so fast, having someone there who knows what they’re doing and truly cares makes all the difference.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Our shooting style is cinematic and emotion-centered. We blend guided, polished portraits with authentic documentary-style coverage so couples get the best of both worlds. Every frame is created with storytelling in mind, and our editing style stays consistent to that signature BEBO look, warm, romantic, and film-inspired.
What I’m most proud of is the experience we give our couples. Our reviews consistently mention how calm and supportive we are on a wedding day, how comfortable we make people feel in front of the camera, and how much they loved reliving their day through the final gallery and film. That trust means everything to us, and it’s what sets BEBO apart. We’re not just there to capture a wedding, we’re there to protect the memories and make the process feel effortless.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
That’s the unknown aspects of what we do. But I can truly say, I adore the brand we have. The team that makes up BEBO, and the special memories we deliver. We will always stay this way!
