Meet Trae Staker of Staker Productions LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Trae Staker.

Trae Staker

Hi Trae, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, let’s briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I have been a part of Jacksonville’s car scene since I learned to drive. However, much before that, I’d always had tremendous respect and appreciation for those who dedicated their time to organizing weekly meets and prominent shows across the United States. After years of attending various shows and gatherings, I carefully identified aspects that could improve the integrity of this community, which initiated the debut of the Staker Productions company. We set out with a goal to provide safe, fun meets and shows that families as a whole could enjoy creating lasting memories. Additionally, we aimed to offer a space for enthusiasts of a generationally wide range to enjoy and grow their passions surrounded by like-minded individuals. We built an incredible team to achieve these goals and began adhering to all legal protocols. This involved obtaining the necessary permissions and permits and hiring off-duty officers to maintain a safe and secure environment. Once all the groundwork was laid, we began by hosting our first car meets in small parking lots, with an attendance rate barely occupying the lots. As our reputation grew, so did the demand for our meets. After two years, we hosted our first formal show. Today, just four years since its origination, the Staker Productions name proudly hosts some of the largest and most well-known car shows in the Northeast region of Florida.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, has it been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Every small business initially face struggles, and we were no exception. From developing an understanding of proper permit pulling adherences to the hiring/scheduling of off-duty officers to negotiating with business owners in support of our cause, even simply for using their parking lots, the list goes on. However, the most significant challenges were building our reputation and growing our relationship with Jacksonville’s car community. This key element took time and effort, but the reward has been immense. This effort has garnered us an incredible number of followers, business collaborators, and sponsors who support all we have to offer, enabling us to expand to renowned venues we never thought possible.

Let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Many folks might need to know that Staker Productions LLC goes beyond organizing our shows and monthly meets. In addition to our operations, we also operate as a subcontracting service firm available for hire by other companies looking to draw sizable crowds to their businesses through events. Whether a short-term daily contract or a long-term yearly commitment, we tailor our services to meet our client’s specific goals and ensure the success of their events!

Before we go, can you talk to us about how people can work, collaborate, or support you?
