Meet Teresa “Teri” Davis of Alive & Wellthy LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Teresa “Teri” Davis.

Teresa “Teri”, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey into entrepreneurship began in healthcare, not business.
I’m a nurse by training, and for years I worked inside clinical systems supporting people at some of their most vulnerable moments—before and after procedures, during recovery, and through lifestyle changes that directly affected their quality of life. What I kept seeing was a gap: patients were being treated medically, but not holistically. Nutrition, gut health, inflammation, stress, and daily habits were often afterthoughts, even though they were critical to healing.

At the same time, I was navigating my own health, energy, and burnout. I began studying functional nutrition, juicing, and nervous-system-supportive wellness not just as personal practices, but as tools for real, sustainable recovery. The results—both personally and with clients—were undeniable.

Alive & Wellthy Wellness Juices was born from that intersection of clinical experience and lived truth.
I started small—curating juice regimens for clients who needed support beyond traditional care, especially pre- and post-op clients and high-performing individuals dealing with inflammation, gut imbalance, and chronic fatigue. What began as hands-on, personalized support quickly grew into structured reset programs and monthly wellness subscriptions.

Building the brand hasn’t been linear. I’ve bootstrapped, pivoted, and built while still working as a nurse—learning how to protect margins, educate consumers, and design offerings that are both healing and scalable. I currently run the business solo, traveling to clients when needed, with a clear plan to expand strategically as demand grows.

Today, Alive & Wellthy is more than juice—it’s a wellness infrastructure.
It’s about restoring the body’s capacity to heal, supporting the nervous system, and making preventative, therapeutic nutrition accessible and practical. My goal is to bridge the gap between clinical care and everyday wellness, especially for people who are tired of quick fixes and ready for real transformation.

Entrepreneurship, for me, isn’t about chasing trends—it’s about building what I wish existed when I was on the other side of the hospital bed.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not a smooth road—and I don’t think it was meant to be.

One of the biggest challenges has been building a wellness brand while still working inside a healthcare system that isn’t designed for prevention. I was bootstrapping Alive & Wellthy while working as a nurse, which meant limited capital, limited time, and having to be incredibly intentional about where I put my energy. Growth wasn’t something I could rush—I had to build sustainably, even when demand was there.

Another struggle was translating clinical wisdom into something people could understand, trust, and invest in. Juice is often marketed as a trend, but what I’m building is therapeutic and protocol-based. Educating customers on why gut health, inflammation reduction, and nervous system support matter—and why consistency matters—took time.

There were also moments of isolation. Running a business with a deep purpose can be lonely, especially when you’re ahead of what the market is used to. I had to learn how to trust my vision, set boundaries, and resist the pressure to dilute the brand just to grow faster.

But those challenges shaped the business.
They forced me to get clear on my values, protect the integrity of the work, and design offerings that actually deliver results. Every obstacle sharpened the mission and made Alive & Wellthy stronger, more intentional, and more aligned with the people it’s meant to serve.

We’ve been impressed with Alive & Wellthy LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Alive & Wellthy Wellness Juices is a clinically informed, purpose-driven wellness brand designed to support real healing—not trends.
We specialize in therapeutic juice programs and subscriptions that focus on gut restoration, inflammation reduction, energy renewal, and nervous system support. Everything we offer is rooted in functional nutrition and informed by my background as a nurse, which means our products are curated with intention, not guesswork.

What we’re known for is structure and strategy in wellness. Our juices aren’t random blends—they’re part of protocols. Whether it’s a reset program or a monthly subscription like Wellthy Revive, each offering is designed to work with the body’s systems over time, supporting consistency and measurable results. We also provide pre- and post-operative wellness support, which is a rare and underserved space in the juice and wellness industry.

What sets Alive & Wellthy apart is the bridge between clinical care and everyday wellness.
Most wellness brands lean either very medical or very lifestyle. We sit in the middle—translating clinical insight into accessible, nourishing routines people can actually sustain. We prioritize gut health, inflammation, and nervous system regulation because those are foundational to long-term wellness, not just short-term cleanses.

Another differentiator is the level of personalization and care. We currently operate as a boutique, hands-on brand, traveling to clients when needed and designing offerings that meet people where they are—physically, emotionally, and energetically. As we grow, that integrity remains non-negotiable.

Brand-wise, what I’m most proud of is that we’ve never compromised the mission to scale faster.
Alive & Wellthy has been built intentionally—bootstrapped, values-led, and aligned. Every product reflects the same question: Does this truly support the body’s ability to heal? If the answer isn’t yes, we don’t offer it.

What I want readers to know is that Alive & Wellthy isn’t just juice—it’s a wellness infrastructure. It’s for people who are ready to move beyond quick fixes and invest in restoration, prevention, and consistency. We’re here to support people in feeling well in their bodies again—and to do it with integrity, education, and care.

Any big plans?
My vision for Alive & Wellthy is to become a trusted wellness infrastructure—not just a product brand.
Looking ahead, I’m focused on expanding access to clinically informed, therapeutic nutrition in a way that’s sustainable, scalable, and deeply human. The next phase is about growth with integrity.

In the near future, I plan to expand our subscription offerings and reset programs, refining them into clearly tiered pathways so clients can move seamlessly from acute support into long-term maintenance. I’m also building toward a more robust digital education component—guides, protocols, and wellness literacy tools—so clients understand why what they’re doing works, not just what they’re consuming.

A major priority is strategic team expansion. Alive & Wellthy has been intentionally built solo, but the future includes bringing on aligned practitioners, operations support, and partnerships that allow us to serve more people without losing the personalized, high-touch care we’re known for.

I’m also excited about deepening our work in pre- and post-operative wellness, corporate and high-performance wellness, and community-based initiatives that address preventative care and health equity. These areas represent both impact and long-term sustainability.

Ultimately, the goal is to build a brand that outlives me.
Alive & Wellthy is being designed to evolve into a platform—one that bridges healthcare, nourishment, and education, and redefines what preventative wellness can look like when it’s rooted in science, care, and consistency.

What I’m most looking forward to is watching the brand grow without losing its soul—staying aligned, responsive, and committed to helping people feel truly alive and wellthy in their bodies again.
