Today we’d like to introduce you to Silver
Hi Silver, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Silver Luna began as an alter ego for performing, content creation, and all things Lifestyle, but has evolved into an everyday alias. It originated as an opposite to my macrame artist name, Golden Helia (derived of the Greek Goddess Helia), in which I used to sell macrame fashion pieces for beaches and festivals and the like.
I moved to Jacksonville mid-2024 from Tulsa, OK with my husband, 4 dogs and cat to find a breath of fresh air at the beach. We had discussed moving to FL, and when his employer offered to relocate us we jumped on the opportunity. I work from home and I was able to gain approval by my employer to move states. We listed our home for rent, packed up, and moved out two months later. It was one of the best decisions we have made to date.
I am curious, spontaneous, ambitious, and have a tendency to jump feet first into things. From vending my macrame clothes, to performing aerial arts at a fest, any event that includes a great group of people is my kind of place. I am a creative at heart, and enjoy collaborating with others to create fun mixed media (both in the macrame space and the performance art space).
Most recently I have been focusing on two podcasts: Going Goddess Podcast and Lifestyle 101 (on Silver Luna’s Vault – YouTube). Going Goddess is all about the lessons I’ve learned throughout my goddess journey with my co-host and special weekly guest goddesses. We focus our conversations around friendships and relationships with our selves – how to hone in and build your core. Then alternately, the Lifestyle 101 podcast is “after-dark” themed, focused around ethically non-monogamous relationships and how to navigate new situations.
In my free time I enjoy practicing aerial arts such as silks, lyra and pole. I am an avid runner and enjoy going to the gym. My husband and I enjoy attending festivals and events; I also enjoy hosting events of my own (this is something I would like to explore more).
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I don’t know that there is such thing as a smooth road when it comes to uprooting your life. However one thing you can guarantee in life is change, so I am always willing and happy to embrace it with open arms.
The biggest challenge I still face daily is imposter syndrome – no matter how hard I have worked to become the person I am, I still frequently feel like I don’t “fit the mold”. These moments have become my signified growth opportunities; learning how to lean into the discomfort and make it my own, make it comfortable, and tackle the challenge head on.
When I get overwhelmed, I put music on my headphones, take the dogs for a walk, then create. Let everything else fall to the wayside until the moment has passed.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
In 2025, I started two individual podcasts: Going Goddess and Lifestyle 101: The Open Door Diaries.
Going Goddess is all about stepping into your Divine Feminine, owning your most authentic self and taking your space. I am a co-host with one of my dearest friends Cherry, we release bi-weekly episodes on YouTube (GoingGoddessPodcast) and Spotify. This podcast is intended to empower and enhance goddesses from all walks of life in our journey to be a better version of ourselves everyday.
Lifestyle 101: The Open Door Diaries is an intro series into the world of Ethical Non-Monogamy, but more specifically, Swinging. I discuss high-level topics like boundaries, expectations, communications, etc. that can help guide a beginner in their Lifestyle journey. This pod is NSFW – just a heads up! It is released on YouTube (SilverLunasVault) and Spotify.
I am really proud of both of them. I am the sole editor, in addition to working a daily 9 – 5 career and maintaining a regular fitness routine and social life.
When I am not working with some form digital media, I also craft and vend macrame clothing for events like festivals and burns, or beach days.
One thing that sets me apart from others is my versatility. If you ask me to collaborate in a creative venture, I will almost always find a way to make it work. I love to create, try new things, and meet new people.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
I am looking for others interested in having fun conversations on both of my podcasts – calling all Goddesses in Progress, or those who practice ENM relationship styles.
It would be adream to find a photographer that has an artistic vision, and can conceptualize interesting photo themes. I enjoy modeling and playful fashion sets.
Also looking for sponsors who may be interested in discussing future business opportunities for any / all of the above.
