Today we’d like to introduce you to Robert Jaramillo.
Hi Robert, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Well, I have been cutting hair for family and friends, growing up. Got sucked into a bar game working at a few bars in Dallas, Texas. Working my way up, so I stopped cutting hair for years. Started going to a new barbershop and meet a really great barber. Who told me I would be great it. But I never had time to do the school part of it. So when I moved from Texas to Florida. I had a chance to go back to school for barbering. Finished school a year later and became a licensed barber.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Owning a barbershop has its ups and downs. The hard part was finding the right location. Getting everything for the shop. But after all that, it has been smooth sailing for sure.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I cut hair for a living. I specialize in any kinda men’s haircut. I’m known for my tight skin fades. Im really proud of starting a small business. My work speaks for its self!
What are your plans for the future?
I plan on expanding one day. I love to do a Florida barbershop motorcycle tour, like go to a bunch of barbershops all around Florida with fellow motorcycle barber riders.
