Hi, Mileysha; please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
It started at the beginning of summer last year; when I felt the heat of May, my coworkers asked me for a typical cold dessert from our country, Puerto Rico, called “Limber.” I wanted to please them with the sweet and creamy coconut flavor, but they wanted 2-3 more flavors. June began, and my 9-year-old son wanted to learn how to make money, so I started a small teaching hobby with him and my husband, which became more significant. From that moment on, sales exploded! We started making 30 limbers weekly, only 3 flavors; now we have 24 flavors; we make around 700-800 limbers and 2 freezers located in Jacksonville, Instagram, Facebook page, and 2 freezers for Delivery and Pickup at home!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
At first, we threw away a lot of Limbers; the combination of flavors we were looking for needed to be corrected. We don’t follow recipes online, so we tried everything in the supermarkets. We mixed, and if something didn’t taste good, it was thrown away. It affected us economically, but with the small profit, we tried again until we got the flavor we wanted. During deliveries, they often melt because we needed to know where to take them to our car and for the customer to receive 100% of the product. It costs us hours of sleep, studying social networks, searching the internet, and learning.

We are dedicated to creating cold desserts from our island, PUERTO RICO🇵🇷; it is a traditional ice cream in a glass, and we do it with great pride. It is based on mixing water, sugar, and other ingredients to create different frozen flavors. We distinguish ourselves because we do not follow recipes and make our style. We are a small family business; all our glasses are created from home and have reached hundreds of people! Our service and flavor will make your palate an incredible experience. Representing our country with a trendy dessert was a challenge, but our customers supported us from day one, and today, thanks to them, we are who we are!
