Today we’d like to introduce you to Leslie Carpio.
Hi Leslie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
So how to make this short? In 2016, my fiance and I renovated our first 1970’s home. It was a HUGE project and after 3 months of hard work, stressful decisions, and lots of patience, we stepped back and admired the masterpiece we had put together.
There was a different satisfaction that I had never felt and decided that there was more to life than getting a bachelor’s and working at a health care facility. And decided to change my career with the emotional and financial support of my fiance. 5 years later, here I am a licensed realtor and future designer.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Definitely not! There have been very stressful days to the point that I have had to cry. Some nights, I wake up thinking about all of my customers and if I’ve missed anything. Other times, I’ve had my heart broken by customers that were not loyal. However, without these experiences, I wouldn’t have been molded into who I’ve become.
Confidence and strength come from these situations. And victory tastes so different when it was a challenge to get there.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Well, I’m a licensed realtor in Jacksonville, FL. I specialize in helping my customers buy or sell real estate. From first-time home buyers to experienced investors. I’m known for being genuine, caring, and knowledgeable.
I’m proud of working so hard and making it this far in my real estate career. Giving up is always an option but I only choose to work harder. It’s when you want to give up that you are almost there!
What sets me apart? I want to make sure my customers are always educated and know what their options are. I’m huge on clear, consistent communication and that my customers are always aware of where we are at in the process and where we are going.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My fiance, Ariel, because he’s always believed in me and continues to encourage me to commit, be better, do better. And for being so selfless to keep us afloat while I took a leap not knowing if I’d be successful.
