Today we’d like to introduce you to Kabir Wolf.
Hi Kabir, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I was born and brought up in a city named Bangalore in India. After barely completing my schooling and dropping out of my bachelor’s program of Liberal Arts, I immigrated to the US on Christmas eve of 2014. Since it was Christmas eve, Waffle house was the only place open.
I remember being amazed at the concept of eating breakfast food for dinner. I lived in California and Mississippi before I moved to Florida in the summer of 2017. I worked as a line cook and a server everywhere I was, I kept getting better and making more money as I moved jobs through Outback Steakhouse, Coopers Hawk, and finally True Food Kitchen.
There was a moment in 2020 when I was looking at my finances and I was $35,000 in credit card debt and couldn’t make enough money to pay the credit card bills and the debt seemed to keep increasing every year. It was June 2020 when I made the decision that I was a failure, I figured that I was so much in debt that there was no way out, I was working three or four jobs with 100-hour work-weeks still wasn’t able to pay the bills, my belief was that I had failed. The funny thing about our brains is that when we have a belief about something, our unconscious mind goes to work to find all the reasons to justify why that belief is true.
After living in that pain for a month, I made a new decision and adopted a new belief. This time I adopted a more empowering belief, that there was no way I had failed at the age of 25. I was just getting started, I just had not figured out the way yet. I used this energy to go out searching for opportunities and was quickly faced with the harsh reality that the challenges I need to overcome were not external but they were internal. I had some limiting beliefs and some demons to sleigh in my mind palace.
As I started my entrepreneur journey in August of 2020 and went on to quit my job in December of 2020, my journey on personal growth and development has been what has allowed me to continuously grow myself and my businesses. One of my first businesses was called “Wolf Automation” and we manage Wholesale FBA Amazon stores.
In February of 2020 when my business launched its website, my best friend from India reached out to me and said that the website that I had just paid $8000 for was horrible and needed to be completely reworked and offered to get it done at a fraction of the price. Once he delivered on his promise we went on to open my next Business, The Invisible Paintbrush, which is a digital marketing company.
Today, I am able to travel the world and make youtube videos of my travels as I get to enjoy the fruit of some of my labor. I am far from where I want to be, but I’ve come a long way from where I used to be. One of my life’s biggest goals is to positively impact ONE BILLION lives, that isn’t going to happen with just me.
My vision goes bigger than just who I am, or even my lifetime; whether it be by doing business with me, reading my book, watching me on youtube, or hearing me speak on stage; I am using my skills and knowledge to change this world by impacting one life at a time.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Every successful entrepreneur will tell you that the road there was bumpy and rocky. The truth of the matter is that success only comes to those that are willing to put in the hard work and stick it out when the times get tough and push through any limitations that may arise.
In life and in business, there are always going to be obstacles, once I understood that the intensity of the obstacles only gets higher as I get older; I felt like had unlocked the secret to life. Overcoming obstacles is like building a muscle, you cant go to the gym one day and just pick up the 25-pound weights, you’ll tear a muscle.
You have to go to the gym every day and start with the 5-pound weight and make your way up to the 25-pound weight. Obstacles are no different, as you learn to overcome the small ones, it becomes easier and easier to overcome the big ones, but if you don’t learn to overcome the small ones, the big ones are going to tear something, and it’s going to hurt!
Here’s what else I learned, the power of perseverance and not giving up, because what happens if you’ve been going to the gym for a year and working out and then stop for six months, you can’t go back and pick up the 25-pound weights, you’ve got to start back with 5 pounds again, maybe 10 if you’re lucky.
The lesson that I learned, was to not stop and keep pushing; at the gym, in business, and in my life. We’ve faced challenges with hiring, we’ve faced challenges with cash flow, with clients not paying us, with businesses not performing the way we intended; we’ve had a buffet of challenges, but we’ve also had a buffet of solutions.
So has it been smooth to get to where I am today? Absolutely not! It has taken me stepping out of my comfort zone more times than I can recall. It has taken me making expensive mistakes to learn the lessons that I needed to be a better businessman. I realized that the greatest success lies directly outside my comfort zone, so today when I see a challenge ahead of me.
I saddle up and get ready for battle because I know that I am going to overcome every challenge that life and business throw at me and no matter what, I am in control of the outcome of any situation.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
The Invisible Paintbrush is a digital marketing agency based out of Bangalore, India. In short, we become your internal marketing team and we keep marketing simple.
We believe that marketing is something that all businesses need, and as social media platforms start to transform the way we communicate with each other, we found a niche for ourselves that helps businesses take the next massive step in their success. At Invisible, our vision is simple: Fun, Rewarding, and Meaningful. This means that if the work we are doing is not fun, rewarding, or meaningful; we don’t do it. Period.
We recognize that as a Talent-based business, all we have is our people. So we love our people to no end and will do anything for our people. We are a people-first organization, our belief is that we can run a successful company without compromising the mental health of our employees. We believe that as founders, we work for our employees, not the other way around. Growing during these challenging times that we live in, we have had our fair share of challenges that have really tested us as a business, and each of us as individuals as well.
Building a work-from-home organization, now of 23 employees, comes with its own fair set of challenges as well that push us to be a better version of ourselves. Knowing that our people are everything to us, company culture is a critical component of our business. What sets us apart is that despite the fact that some of our team has never met with us in person, our team takes ownership of their work; they show up as their highest and best self every day for us and in return, we fight for them; because at Invisible, all we have is our people.
We specialize in social media marketing from brands, this entails everything from creating a social media strategy for your brand to researching and ideating content buckets and then actually writing the copy and designing the branded asset. We also work with bigger marketing agencies to help them on their back-end with the execution of their brands by being their fulfillment agency. The currency advantage is something that works in our favor helping us provide services like building a $20,000 website for as little as $5000-$7000.
We launched our business as a model to exclusively serve American clients and execute out of our Indian office, however since we have started people in India have noticed us we have built quite the reputation for ourselves in India as a self-sustaining model in that market as well. We are currently most proud of our partnership in India with Ola Foods, which is the biggest competition in the Indian market to Uber Eats. We are also working with a meadery called Moonshine Meadery that was recently featured on Shark Tank as well.
We offer a range of services for our US market, we offer our logo and visual identity design, website packages, advertising packages, and SEO optimization as well. We also offer social media marketing retainer packages which include the ideation, research, copywriting, and design of your brand’s social media page. We also offer our a-la-carte design services offering merchandise, stationery, letterheads, book/album covers, and anything that needs to be graphically designed or animated.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Success is something that each of us needs to define for ourselves, for what success means to me may be very different from what that means to you or the next person.
The way I define success is having the feeling of fulfillment and gratitude at the end of the day knowing that gave that day my all and I came out stronger on the other end of it. To me, the most important quality of my success is the ability to change. Some of us get wrapped up in a story of whom we have told ourselves that we need to be.
Perhaps it’s because of something someone said when we were younger or a belief that we picked up growing up from society and our experiences through life, these beliefs then define who we are and we do everything in our power to focus on them and make them come true. I am saying that if you focus on the ability to change and see things a different way, that could be the difference between you being successful and failing.
Here’s a powerful question, what if that’s true?

Clarity of thought, devotion to purpose and compassion for team members are three key elements to a successful venture and kabir’s voice seem to address all three.Brilliant. I wish kabir and his team all the success. Good people make the world a beautiful place.
