Today we’d like to introduce you to Julian Abel
Hi Julian, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is Julian Abel born and raised in Jacksonville Florida, I started my very own business at the age of 16 named JnJ’s. I have been working in a fine dinning establishment in Vicars Landing Oak Bridge for a little more
than 2 years.
After building up my experience in the service industry and becoming one of the most well respected servers at Vicars Landing Oak Bridge. I was refereed to work a wedding in Saint Augustine with my well respected friend/coworker named Jp Mac.
After working my first wedding I found working different events and meeting new people to be a pleasure of mine. I loved going to different events and banquets to show off my fancy fine dinning service skills, it was my passion.
I continued working and learning everything about the service industry. Making a website and having some business cards was the start of JnJ’s.
Therefore I made a Moto for my Business; (JnJ’s Your Event Our Passion).
Making my first business card helped in the beginning, also being bilingual speaking both English and Spanish doubled my opportunities for finding work. Eventually leading to my current position now. I am now working with multiple different caterers in Jacksonville/Ponte Vedra and have a multiple more Servers working for me including my partner Jp Mac.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One of the biggest Obstacles/Challenges that I have had being a young entrepreneur is Advertising my services and finding the right people to schedule and work different events. Another Obstacle for me is finding Work/business especially since during the summer season. Weddings and other Banquets are less common because of the brutal Florida heat.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
