Hi Jill, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
After 13 years in Corporate Banking, I transitioned to full-time motherhood for my two kids – with that came challenges, including anxiety and pressure to be perfect. The pandemic heightened my stress, prompting me to make a change by becoming a Mayo Clinic Certified Wellness Coach, later achieving National Board Certification. I founded Waterfall Wellness Coaching to support moms in setting goals, building confidence, and creating wellness visions. By focusing on nutrition, physical activity, and stress management, I help clients establish healthy routines to enjoy life with their children.
As a Health and Wellness Coach, I have 3 years of experience helping women achieve their wellness goals. I am passionate about supporting moms every step of the way. I host a Facebook Challenge Group for moms who want encouragement, accountability, and practical tips to build healthier habits. It’s a supportive space to set goals, celebrate progress, and connect with others who are on a similar wellness journey.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not!! I struggled with the decision to leave my corporate job to be a stay at home mom to my kids. I worked hard to climb the corporate ladder and felt torn about leaving that behind. On the other hand, I saw how quickly time goes with little ones and I didn’t want to miss out on that. In the end, it was the best decision I ever made!!
I have also struggled as a first time business owner. While I had plenty of corporate experience, running my own business was very different. I am learning to manage finances, build a client base, manage work and family time, and overcome self-doubt.

I am the sole owner of Waterfall Wellness Coaching where I empower moms to build practical wellness routines, boost their confidence, and find more joy in everyday family life.
I specialize in helping women set achievable wellness goals, develop healthy routines, and manage stress through a holistic approach that focuses on nutrition, physical activity, and self-care. The aim is to support mothers in balancing their personal and family lives while prioritizing their own well-being.
What sets me apart from other coaches is my personal journey from a demanding corporate career to full-time motherhood, and then becoming a Mayo Clinic and National Board Certified Wellness coach. I understand firsthand the pressures mothers face and use that experience to offer compassionate, realistic guidance. My approach is holistic, focusing not just on fitness or nutrition, but on building confidence, managing stress, and creating routines that truly fit into a mother’s busy life. This blend of professional expertise and personal empathy makes my coaching both relatable and effective.
I am proud of creating a supportive space where moms feel understood and empowered to prioritize their well-being. I’ve turned my own experiences and challenges into a meaningful way to inspire and guide others, making a real difference in the lives of the women I coach.

What matters most to you?
My family is my number one priority in life, and their well-being inspires everything I do. I know the challenges of being a mom but I also know how rewarding it is. I want to be a good role model for my kids by not only teaching them healthy habits but demonstrating those habits myself. Balancing motherhood with my passion for coaching allows me to support other moms while staying true to what matters most—cherishing time, being outdoors, and creating meaningful memories.
