Haute Headz Salon & Spa was born out of a bold vision—to create more than just a salon. We started 10 years ago as a cookie cutter salon and 4 years into the business I decided to make changes to accommodate the ever changing industry. We wanted a space where transformation, confidence, and community come together. Located in the heart of Jacksonville, Florida, Haute Headz is where artistry meets systems, where creativity meets professionalism, and where guests walk in for hair—and leave with power.
From day one, we’ve been committed to elevating the salon experience for both guests and stylists. As a company built on systems, we train, grow, and lead with intention. Every stylist on our team is given the tools, mentorship, and roadmap to grow a thriving career—not just a job behind the chair. As well as treated like professionals with 401K plan and PTO which most salons never offer,

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
When Haute Headz Salon & Spa first opened in Jacksonville over a decade ago it seemed smooth at first and then reality set in. We knew we had the passion, but the talent, and the drive were challenging—but like many salons at the time, we lacked one critical thing: systems. Our early years were marked by hard work, but also by antiquated business models, inconsistent growth, and limited structure. We knew we were capable of more—but we needed a new approach.
Today, Haute Headz Jax is no longer the same salon it was 10 years ago.
We’ve evolved—radically.
By embracing modern business systems, we’ve transformed into a structured, scalable, and career-building salon company. Every stylist now has a clear path for growth, every guest receives a consistent, elevated experience, and the business operates with intention—not chaos.

Our team includes stylists certified in multiple curly cutting systems, all major extension methods (including hand-tied, tape-in, fusion, and more), and a wide range of color techniques—from lived-in blondes and reds to bold fashion shades and grey coverage solutions. Many of our stylists are also trained educators and mentors, constantly pouring into others and leveling up their craft.
