Hi Jaime, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Tall Palms Co. was born out of my love for small businesses and the people who start them!
My husband and I owned multiple brick and mortar fitness studios in the Northern Va/DC area for 7 years. During this time we watched countless small businesses open and then fail within the first few years of opening due to poor marketing or being taken advantage of by large marketing companies that made big promises and never delivered. With my background in marketing and my husbands business savvy, we were able to scale our operation and grow to multiple facilities which we then sold to move down to Florida.
This experience is what really grew my passion for helping small businesses succeed and motivated me to launch my own Marketing Agency focused on helping small businesses get the word out about their business and attract their ideal clients.
Tall Palms Co. has been serving clients in NE Florida since 2021 and we’ve continued to see amazing success for our clients!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting any business is a tough journey but especially when you’re new to the area and still finding your bearings. There have been a lot of ups and downs with getting to know this large city and the amazing businesses within it! Understanding the local market and the monetary value placed on marketing services in Florida versus DC was another struggle that required a lot of market research to really nail it!

We are incredibly proud of the success we’ve seen with Social Media Management with a lot of our clients getting 1M+ views on their content and seeing a direct increase in revenue from this exposure.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
If you’re just starting out with your business, it’s essential to remind yourself daily of who you’re aiming to help/serve. In this era of so much FOMO or seeing people show immense success online, it’s so easy to feel like you need to copy others to keep up or gain success. But I truly believe that if you focus on your unique value proposition and stay true to your mission, you will see success.
