Today we’d like to introduce you to India Bryant.
Hi India, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Of course! My journey really began from a place of healing. I created Blendia By India out of my own need for peace, wellness, and confidence—starting with skincare but expanding into holistic healing. I’ve always been deeply connected to helping others, and over time, I began to see how many people—especially women—were holding emotional, physical, and even spiritual pain in their bodies and skin.
What began as making natural skin care products in my kitchen evolved into a full-blown business rooted in self-love, ritual, and community. As I grew, I realized that what I was building was more than just a product line—it was a sanctuary. That’s when Ruth’s Garden was born, in honor of my grandmother Ruth, who was my safe space. She taught me what love, nourishment, and healing looked like, and I wanted to create that same feeling for others.
Now, I’m blending my background in sound healing, Reiki, yoga, and emotional wellness with my natural product line to support others in healing inside and out. It’s been a journey filled with growth, a few pivots, a lot of prayer—and I’m still unfolding it every day with grace.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I’ve had my highs, but to be honest, there was a lot I needed to learn—especially before stepping into the responsibility of a brick-and-mortar space. I operated my shop for three years without any financial help, and while I’m proud of that, I can honestly say there are a lot of things I’d do differently now.
But that experience taught me so much—not just about business, but about myself. Through it all, I found a deeper connection to my purpose, and I truly believe that God and my ancestors have been guiding me every step of the way. Even in my roughest moments, I’ve continued to build meaningful connections, grow spiritually, and uncover the path I was always meant to walk. I’m still unfolding, still learning—but now I know I’m aligned with something greater.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My business, Blendia by India, is more than just skincare—it’s a sacred experience rooted in love, intention, and holistic wellness. I specialize in handcrafted, all-natural skincare products made to nourish your skin and uplift your spirit. Alongside that, I offer healing services such as Reiki, sound healing, yoga, and holistic coaching, supporting the emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of the community.
What truly sets us apart is the heart and ancestral wisdom woven into everything we do. Whether it’s a bar of soap or a sound bath, every part of this brand is designed to heal and empower. I’m most proud that Blendia by India has become a space where people can find peace, rebuild their confidence, and begin their wellness journey in a safe, affirming way.
Im in the process of launching my new baby Ruth’s Garden, an extension of Blendia by India inspired by my grandmother, Ruth—a woman whose presence felt like healing itself. Ruth’s Garden is a community-centered wellness initiative offering events, classes, and ceremonies that help people reconnect to the earth, their bodies, and their souls. Through this expansion, I hope to provide even more people with the tools, space, and support to grow, just like a garden.
At the core of my brand is this message: You deserve to feel whole, cared for, and rooted in your own power. Whether through our products, healing services, or sacred spaces like Ruth’s Garden—we’re here to help your soul grow.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was the quiet but quirky kid. I was really shy, but I had this deep curiosity and a love for trying new things. I was definitely the kid who hung out with the adults more than other kids—I could hold real conversations, and I genuinely enjoyed listening to their wisdom and life stories. Being around them, especially my grandmother, gave me comfort. Learning her ways—whether it was cooking, connecting with our community, or simply how to carry yourself with grace—shaped me early on. Looking back, I guess I was a little mature for my age, lol.
Even though I was quiet, I found my voice through music. Whether I was listening or playing a few instruments in band, I understood music—it made sense to me in a way nothing else did. I could see colors and lines when I listened (which I now realize was me sensing frequencies). I still do that today. If you ever catch me closing my eyes during a song, just know… I might be watching colors dance. Funny enough, back in college, I used to meditate to heavy metal, EDM, and rock—but don’t tell nobody that! 😄
