Meet Evvine Wright of Orlando

Today we’d like to introduce you to Evvine Wright.

Hi Evvine, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m from Orlando, and for me, fashion has always been more than just clothing—it’s how I express who I am. My journey didn’t start with luxury or access to the finer things, but that became my motivation. When you grow up without a lot of materialistic things, you learn to be resourceful and creative. I learned to make the most of what I had and focus on showcasing my personality through style and self-expression, rather than worrying about what I didn’t have.

Photography was my first love—I always dreamed of being behind the camera. But somewhere along the way, I became the subject. Most of the time now, I’m the one in front of the lens. What draws people in is my style, my unique vision, and the way I bring a concept to life. It all started with birthday photo shoots—just something personal—but over the last six years, that small passion evolved into modeling for various brands and collaborating with photographers all over.

My ultimate goal is to walk into rooms like Paris Fashion Week and the Met Gala—not just to attend, but to make a statement, to showcase the looks I know I can pull off and the energy I bring. My style is bold, elevated—what I call Upper Room. I move with purpose, and I give all credit to God for the creativity and doors that have opened so far.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Honestly, I’d say it’s been a smooth road—mainly because I don’t give energy to negativity or outside opinions. I’m doing what I love, and that keeps me grounded. In the beginning, some of my peers—and even people from my city—didn’t fully get the vision. The style, the message, the way I move… it was different. But I think that’s exactly why it resonates now. I stayed true to myself. The authenticity spoke louder than any explanation ever could.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I specialize in modeling and creative direction, but what I’m really known for is my eye—my creative photo shoots and my distinct sense of style. What makes me proud the most is when I step out and people remember a look I wore months ago, or they bring up one of my shoots that stuck with them. I hear things like, “Yo, that fit you posted was so hard” or “That shoot you did—how’d you come up with that?” And now, people are actually coming to me for help with their own concepts. That means a lot. It tells me the vision is connecting.

What sets me apart is my creativity, hands down. That spark definitely comes from my childhood—growing up watching cartoons and translating that into how I see style and storytelling now. But it’s also the fact that I wear multiple hats: I model, I style, and I creative direct. You don’t come across a lot of people who can fully execute all three at a high level, and that’s the space I move in.
