Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
The Little Flower Bunch was opened in 2017. We (Elena & Erica) took over the business from its original owner in October of 2019. We stayed true to the original business model with our unique ‘Daily Bunch’, but added our own personal touch.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Overall, we’ve been pretty lucky and haven’t faced too many challenges. We rely heavily on social media and work diligently to keep up with those changes that at times can be daunting. It does force us to use our creativity in new ways though.
2020 had its challenges, but we navigated the pandemic by taking it day by day. Our biggest challenge at that time was shopping for our flowers. Our business model requires us to shop at the wholesaler daily to create our bunch of the day. We worked with our business partners (local Jacksonville wholesalers) and just rolled with the changes.
We were all figuring it out together. We also decided to go to contactless deliveries to keep our customers and our employees as safe as possible.
As you know, we’re big fans of The Little Flower Bunch. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Here at The Little Flower Bunch we love beautiful, fresh flowers and believe a gorgeous bunch can make someone’s day. Our concept is simple – we head to the market each weekday morning and select the prettiest and freshest flowers of the day. We then create one unique design, our ‘Daily Bunch’, using our early-morning selections.
Our mission is to offer fresh, quality flowers, with stylish designs at an affordable price. We offer each Daily Bunch in three convenient sizes. Our Single Bunch for $35 is a beautiful gesture for any occasion. We wrap each unique bunch with brown kraft paper, tie it with twine and deliver it in a mason jar with a handwritten note. To truly make a statement, we also have our Signature Double Bunch. Double the amount of flowers as our single and beautifully arranged in a large mason jar, adorned with ribbon, for only $68.
For an occasion that calls for something special, we offer our Triple Bunch for $115. The triple is created in a large glass vase and the blooms are thoughtfully arranged to deliver a full, beautiful arrangement that will surely make anyone feel loved. Our unique business model ensures that you are receiving beautiful, fresh from the market blooms, delivered to your door daily. We believe that flowers bring happiness.
