Today we’d like to introduce you to Amber C. Chase, BCCC, CCLC, CPsy.D..
Hi Amber C., we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey into counseling, education, and youth development began with a deep passion for helping young people recognize their value, purpose, and potential. Early in my career, I found myself drawn to working with children and adolescents who were struggling mentally, academically, emotionally, socially, or spiritually. Having witnessed young people being overlooked, written off, and sometimes given up on, I became determined to create programs, resources, and supportive environments that would help them feel seen, heard, valued, and supported as whole individuals. Through those experiences, I witnessed firsthand how encouragement, guidance, and faith-based support could transform a young person’s confidence and outlook on life.
Over the past fifteen years, I have served youth and families in educational, counseling, mentoring, and faith-centered environments. As I worked with students from diverse backgrounds, I noticed a growing need for approaches that addressed the whole child, not just academic performance. This realization inspired me to integrate Christian principles, social-emotional learning, mentorship, and personal development into my work.
That commitment ultimately led me to found Foundations in Faith & Learning™, an educational and youth development organization dedicated to nurturing spiritual growth, academic success, emotional wellness, leadership development, and whole-child transformation. Today, I serve as its Founder and Chief Academic Transformation Officer, where I lead the development of faith-based educational programs, curriculum, educational frameworks, mentorship initiatives, and counseling-informed resources. As a Board-Certified Christian Counselor and Certified Christian Life Coach, I am passionate about equipping children, adolescents, families, educators, and churches with practical, Christ-centered resources that foster academic excellence, emotional wellness, spiritual growth, and lifelong transformation.
My work is driven by the belief that every young person has God-given gifts, purpose, and potential. Whether through counseling, coaching, writing, curriculum development, or educational innovation, my mission remains the same: to equip the next generation with the faith, confidence, and practical tools they need to succeed in every area of life while remaining grounded in biblical truth.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it has not been a completely smooth road. Like many people who are passionate about serving others, I have faced my share of challenges along the way. Building programs, developing educational resources, pursuing professional growth, and serving youth and families often required perseverance, sacrifice, and faith.
One of the greatest challenges has been witnessing young people who felt overlooked, unsupported, or written off because of their circumstances, learning differences, emotional struggles, or life experiences. Seeing those realities reinforced my commitment to creating environments where children and adolescents feel seen, heard, valued, and empowered.
As an entrepreneur and founder, I have also faced the challenges that come with building something from the ground up. There have been moments of uncertainty, limited resources, long hours, and balancing multiple responsibilities while remaining focused on the vision God placed in my heart. Those experiences taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of trusting God’s direction even when the path was not always clear.
Each challenge has strengthened my faith and deepened my passion for helping young people discover their purpose and potential. Looking back, I believe the obstacles were not setbacks but opportunities for growth that helped shape both my personal journey and the work I do today.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Foundations in Faith & Learning™?
Foundations in Faith & Learning™ was created from a desire to help children and adolescents thrive mentally, academically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. After years of working with youth and families in educational, counseling, mentoring, and faith-based settings, I recognized a growing need for programs that support the whole child rather than focusing on only one area of development.
Foundations in Faith & Learning™ is a Christian educational transformation organization dedicated to equipping children, families, educators, churches, and mentors with faith-based educational resources that nurture spiritual growth, academic excellence, emotional wellness, leadership, and character development. Through curriculum development, mentorship initiatives, counseling-informed resources, educational programming, and family support, we strive to help young people build confidence, resilience, and a strong biblical foundation.
What sets Foundations in Faith & Learning™ apart is our holistic approach. We intentionally integrate biblical truth, social-emotional learning, academic enrichment, character development, and practical life skills into everything we create. Rather than viewing a child’s academic, emotional, spiritual, and social development as separate areas, we recognize that each one influences the others.
One of the things I am most proud of is developing programs and resources that make faith-based learning both practical and transformative. As we continue to grow, we are expanding into curriculum publishing, digital learning resources, and educational programs designed to serve families, schools, churches, and organizations around the world.
Ultimately, I want readers to know that Foundations in Faith & Learning™ is more than an educational organization—it is a mission dedicated to helping raise a generation that is academically equipped, emotionally resilient, spiritually grounded, and prepared to lead with wisdom, integrity, and biblical truth.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I would say faithful perseverance has been one of the most important qualities contributing to my success. Building programs, serving youth and families, pursuing continued education, and developing Foundations in Faith & Learning™ has required persistence through challenges, uncertainty, and seasons of growth. There have been times when resources were limited, plans took longer than expected, or obstacles seemed overwhelming, but I remained committed to the vision and purpose God placed on my heart. I have learned that vision without perseverance rarely becomes reality, and perseverance without faith can quickly become discouragement.
Perseverance has allowed me to continue showing up for the children, adolescents, and families I serve, even when the work is difficult. It has taught me that meaningful impact rarely happens overnight. Lasting change is often the result of consistency, faith, and a willingness to keep moving forward despite setbacks.
My faith has given me the strength to trust God’s timing, remain focused on my mission, and continue investing in the lives of young people. Together, faith and perseverance have shaped both my personal journey and the work I do today, reminding me that the greatest impact often comes through faithfully serving others over time.
