Today we’d like to introduce you to Ahmad Samu’el.
Hi Ahmad, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was born in Jacksonville and a Jacksonville native. Been doing music for over 15 years. I started out playing musical instruments in middle school and high school and then got into the sound tech program. I started off doing poetry and songwriting and learning how to produce at the age of 19. From that point on I was going in and out of different Studios sitting under different world phenomenal engineers. Giving me the game. At the age of 23, I started my 1st own label Amp-them production. We took off and did a lot of major work for a lot of different gospel artists that was my first taste of artist development and what it took to be an artist. Soon after 2010, we develop mixed therapy entertainment Studios at that point we were well on our way Ahmad Samuel was created. Living a cruise and relaxed lifestyle I captivated that into my music whereas a mixture of hip hop and R&B Best of Both Worlds. With new singles out cruise control champagne on Ice put it on my tab just to name a few. The Ahmad Samuel trademark has really taken off from that point. From songwriting producing engineer mixing and mastering sound development and vocal coaching. Ahmad Samuel is definitely an up-and-coming new household name in the music industry.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Every success story how the shaky Road. Losing my family in my early years. Was a game-changer for me before my mother died the last thing she said to me was go get a Grammy you got Grammy material in you. That did it ever since then I’ve just been the grind mode. My uncle and my grandmother have always been my biggest cheerleaders so losing them was a hard road to overcome.

I’m an artist songwriter and producer. I’m known for producing and rapping.
I’m proud of the development of Amon Samuel. Branding and marketing. The class of energy that has been put into this project and other projects has been amazing.
Ahmad Samuel brings a gentleman class to Hip Hop. My music is laid-back relaxing something that you a ride with the top down sitting out on the beach Drinking a nice pina colada and just cruising and enjoying life that’s what my music kind of sets you on the mind. Songs for the ladies it’s a great vibe.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
Our city has a lot of amazing artists actors and anybody that’s in the entertainment field. Going to different open mics art walks and show performances just seeks to amaze me with the amount of talent that is here in Jacksonville.
I would like to see more events and venues for artists and entertainers more outrageous more Outlets provided by the city.
