Today we’d like to introduce you to Priyanshi Bhagol.
Hi Priyanshi, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hi, my name is Priyanshi. I am 25 years old and born and bought up in India. I have done my masters in Fashion Management from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, India, in 2019 and immediately started working with an export house, ‘Modelama Exports.’ I have an experience of 3 years, i.e., 2019- June 2022, for customers like Vineyard Vines, Nordstrom, and Buy Buy Baby. I was honored with second prize in an International Conference named as- 4th Edition of Green Fashion. I moved to Jacksonville with my husband as he got an opportunity to be here in the USA. To be with him, I left my job, and I am here on a dependent visa which means I can’t do anything here to make money. I did not want to make any gap in my career, so I joined online classes in UI/UX. My interests include photography, dancing, and singing. Moving to Jacksonville helped me to study further, which is an additional thing for me.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, not at all. It would be a lie if I said it’s been easy. Moving out of India, leaving my job, and being away from family and friends has been very challenging. Still, I’m thankful because I have my husband and parents who support me every time we pass obstacles, and all those difficulties made me grow. I got uncomfortable with my life, but I found a way to overcome all the struggles.

Back in India, I used to work for US customers. I was a Fashion Merchandiser. Specialized in product developing, costing, negotiations, fabric/trims booking, pre-production activities, and testing of the garments. So my core work was to meet the customer’s requirements within the timeline. Also, as mentioned, I love photography. I own a page on Instagram named “Randomframings.”You can also check the page. I hope you guys will like it. What sets me apart from others is I believe there is no age for learning things. To learn, explore and enjoy your life as much as you can.
