Life & Work with Karina Brez of Palm Beach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Karina Brez.

Hi Karina, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m the third generation. My father is a master jeweler, and I grew up watching him. And my mom runs a “mom and pop” jewelry store. I grew up in this business. I wanted to branch out and do my own thing, so I went into jewelry appraisals and gem identification and started my company when I was 21. I became Miss Florida USA in 2012 and soon combined my two passions, Horses and Jewelry, and in Jan 2013 opened up my first pop-up in Wellington, Florida, at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Journeys are never smooth. With the ups and downs, you learn and grow. I think one of my biggest struggles is organically growing a business. It takes lots of patience.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
I design fine equestrian jewelry. I am known for my Huggable Hooves®️, Horse LUV®️ , and Bit of LUV™️. Those are my signature designs and best sellers. Most of my designs are horse-related, which is my main inspiration for the brand. I’m all about quality, and each piece is finished beautifully. I take pride in making the back just as beautiful as the front. Most of my clients are riders, trainers, and horse owners.

Can you talk to us about happiness and what makes you happy?
Seeing my clients thrilled and happy with a new piece of jewelry. I like to bring happiness to people around me, and in return, it brings me joy.
