Hi Kallie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to introduce yourself.
My name is Kallie Helmly, and I am the Founder of Bronzed and Boujee Glo-Tique. Born and raised in NE Florida, I am no stranger to the sunshine and the gorgeous tan it provides year-round. After my father was diagnosed with Stage 3 Melanoma Skin cancer and being a busy wife and mother of 2, I knew I had to find a way to maintain this Florida Glow without the harmful UV rays from the Sun. Established in 2021, Bronzed and Boujee Glotique is proud to provide you with the “Best Spray Tan in St. Johns County.”

We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
However, I have always had an entrepreneurial mindset. I am starting a small business right after a pandemic was no easy task. I wanted to find a way to make more money to maintain my “Boujee” lifestyle in hopes my husband may stop complaining about all the handbags and botox. LOL, I now have 2 daughters to provide for as well, who are naturally following in their mother’s footsteps and desiring the finer things in life. *I’m doomed* It has been a challenging but oh-so-rewarding first year of business, and we will only be growing bigger and bigger from here.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am Master Certified and Licensed in Sunless Tanning and Teeth Whitening. I love spray tanning; there is something so therapeutic about tanning the body. Not only is it an instant result, but seeing how much it boosts confidence and makes everyone feel beautiful in their skin is rewarding. I am so proud of myself and how far I have come. I am pleased to say I have never had one negative review or result. What sets me apart from others is me and the experience I offer. Many of my clients have become personal friends, and I always try to take the vulnerability out of the experience and make everybody comfortable. In my Glotique and online, I sell and spray tan-safe body care, self-tanners, accessories, and more.

We love surprises, fun facts, and incredible stories. Can you share something that might surprise us?
As I mentioned earlier, I love the finer things in life and claim Boujee should’ve been my middle name. However, I love spending time with friends and family in the great outdoors. Whether camping or tearing up the dust on an ATV, this Boujee babe is not afraid to get dirty.
