Today we’d like to introduce you to Jee.
Hi Jee, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Jee. Short for Najee. Raised in Jacksonville Florida Duval County but created in Montgomery Alabama. I jumped off the porch at the age of 12. 2003. By 2006 I was T.T.G, trained to go. Fast forward to now, I’m a fresh 30. Spent most of my 20’s in county Jail. Did my last bid in 2017. Since my release, every day has been dedicated to becoming an elite Artist & Entrepreneur! My foundation is being and staying independent. I don’t desire to sign a deal or be owned by ANY industry. I had an opportunity to sign with cinematic in 2019, but I declined. Since my release, I have also been teaching myself as much as I can about the paperwork game, taxes, sponsors, contracts, and more! This research has secured me and my content. Today I have a network platform called LINK UP PARADISE. This platform is not for me but for all other independent artists & entrepreneurs. Before COVID, we threw underground shows. Providing artists to not only showcase their talent but also make money as well. Since Covid, The platform is dedicated to shedding the spotlight on these artists & entrepreneurs from a digital standpoint. I also have my own clothing line NAJE COLLECTION with over 300-400 pieces sold. I Have a solid music catalog with over 100k streams collectively over all platforms & over 25k views collectively on YouTube. I have my own platform to separate my videography & Directing skills as well. That platform is called JATA LAND! I also partner with my business partner to produce graphics & assisting with carpentry work. That platform is called WE GOT YOUR BACK. So these days I have my hand filled. I’m only on year 5 of actually making the power moves needed to level up!!!!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has not been easy at all.
My passion has me alienated.
My ambition gets me treated like an outcast.
So many sacrifices were made to be a superior artist.
Without me having a spiritual balance, I believe I would have given up long ago like most of my peers.

What do I do: Music, Fashion Designing, Directing, photography, Videography, carpentry, Drawing & Painting.
What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
I learn that without knowledge of self, you can not have balance. & when you are not balanced, you’re not aligned & when you’re not aligned, anything can happen.
