Hi Dalonte aNd Adriana, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Our passion for coffee started over a century ago supporting a local cafe in PA, our home location. After moving to FL our search for our favorite cafe began yet led to starting our own.
It’s In The DNA Coffee started as a mobile cafe, 1 year later moved into a shared space and 1 year after that into an independent space. Our mobile service is still a highlight of our business for catered and/or special events. Our cafe located in 5 Points brings warmth with plants and brown tones to create a space you’ll want to stay.
Our menu features our take on cold brew through an Ice Drip technique. All of our lattes explore fun flavor combinations that complement the selected bean for that perfect cup. Always coffee forward and never to sweet with locally roasted coffee! Let’s not forget to highlight or food, explore sweet and savory crepes, breakfast sandwiches, acai bowls, avocado toast and so much more!
Fairly new to the area we love the 5 Point community and can’t wait to meet you.

Obstacles always come in the form of getting the word out there. Small business owners are also marketing managers. It’s all consuming but necessary for growth.

With 16+ years in food and beverage manufacturing we’ve had ample exposure to food handling requirements and business success related to P&L management.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Only risk what you can afford to loose. This is why we strategically choose to scale our business. Especially in the “restaurant” business many don’t make it. This is predominantly due to over investing.
