Life & Work with Brittany Snowden

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Snowden.

Hi Brittany, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was at a very rough time in my life, a time where I was trying to find myself, trying to find my purpose, and feeling incredibly alone. I remember always wanting to dance as a kid but was never allowed to. In 2014, I was offered a job at a dance studio; from there, I left my old life behind and began my new life walking in purpose. I began teaching a realized how I could do the same for others. There are many reasons to dance, and I bet each is life-changing!

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
We all face challenges, we all have lessons to learn, but life is challenging and we are bound to make mistakes. However those challenges and lessons are what shape us as individuals and if you are lucky to come out on the other side; then you will be blessed to live and walk in purpose & destiny.

My journey was not smooth! I’ve always known I wanted to be an entrepreneur. I’ve tried many endeavors, from sales, customer service, journalism, interior design, clerical, etc., but nothing spoke to me like dance( and my other business). Even now, I am injured, but I won’t let that stop me from my purpose. With every closed door, one is bound to open.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m going to bring dance to the public school system, retirement facilities, companies/corporations, and recreation centers! My goal is to help other people see; that through work & prayer, you will truly find peace & happiness. Only then will you truly be happy. I started school with a major in nutrition. However, I knew there were multiple ways that I could benefit others. I also have a vegan butter line as a healthier substitute for dairy cooking butter. This sets me apart from others because I genuinely want to see a healthier, happier society that clings to it through diet & dance.
