Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with The Willow Sisters

We’re looking forward to introducing you to The Willow Sisters. Check out our conversation below.

Hi The Willow Sisters, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
Our first 90 minutes? During the past 3 months, we’ve started our mornings out with a coffee or smoothie and then we head to the beach for a sister walk. During our daily walks we listen to music, say a prayer, and practice gratitude. It’s the best way to start the day! 🙂

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
We’re The Willow Sisters, an identical twin sister duo whose harmonies have been intertwined since the young age of three. While our roots are in electronic pop, we write across all genres and never want to be put in a box.

We have some new projects on the horizon. We’re especially excited about an ambient, dreamy, folk inspired project that will show another side of us. As we evolve our sound and in our artistry we will stay true to ourselves. More than anything, our goal is to bring joy, light, and connection to the world through our music. 2026 promises to be our most transformative year yet.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who taught you the most about work?
Our grandfather taught us the most about work. He grew up with nothing, literally had to go hunting for food as child, but through sheer grit and insanely hard work, he became a highly successful real estate entrepreneur with over two dozen properties. He took risks when many stayed in safe factory jobs, started his own cabinet installation business, and believed in himself long before “manifestation” was a buzzword. His confidence and generosity shaped our work ethic and mindset. He used his success to bless and help countless people, and that generosity is exactly what we aspire to carry forward; to work hard, take bold chances, and use our blessings to uplift others.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
For both of us, the fear that’s held us back the most was putting ourselves out there. We’ve always loved singing since we were kids, however we didn’t start pursuing it professionally until 2019 because we feared judgment. What we’ve learned is that fear itself can keep you small, but pushing past it has opened incredible doors. We’ve had so many amazing, fun opportunities, traveled the country for music, and met & worked with incredible people. This part of our lives enriches everything and we feel deeply blessed to experience it. The magic you’re chasing starts where your comfort zone ends. One more quote we love, “Taking risks is planting seeds in unknown soil, you’ll never know what can bloom until you try”.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Our closest friends would say what matters most to us is living long, happy, healthy, and blessed lives surrounded by family. We value deep, genuine friendships, and we’re grateful to be surrounded by grounded, joyful people with uplifting spirits. Our friends encourage us, show up for us, and cheer us on every step of the way; & we’re just as committed to supporting them. At the heart of it all, what matters most to us is doing what sets our souls on fire and living with purpose.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. When do you feel most at peace?
Probably anytime we’re singing, whether it’s a jam session in the studio or at a gig. Also, early mornings watching the sunrise at the beach or in the mountains also bring us a deep sense of calm. it’s those quiet, unhurried moments that center us.
