Today we’d like to introduce you to Wisguere Dormevil.
Hi Wisguere, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my journey originally in Haiti. I was born and spent most of my childhood there. My parents migrated to South Florida and eventually, they sent for me. I lived in South Florida until I was about 19 years old. I’ve always loved music! In 2010 I started producing music for a few friends. The name, “FlyGame Music” originated from this. In 2013 FGM became a brand. Managing apparel and hosting club events, most of our time was spent in the studio creating content. As people grew, the group of friends moved and went their separate ways, all with no bad feelings. In 2014, I moved to Palm Coast, FL with my beautiful wife and kids. The first year I was there, I started making connections with the community and planned multiple events, even though they were a huge success, I felt like the city needed something more. There was a huge Caribbean presence in Palm Coast and surrounding cities. This is when Island Festival PC was birthed.
We started the Island Festival to educate locals on the culture and arts. From Haiti to Jamaica, Barbados, Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, and many more places, we wanted to bring the Islands to Palm Coast and surrounding areas. Every year we bring authentic Caribbean food vendors, food trucks, and merchandise vendors. This year, we’re bringing the authentic sound of the Islands with two-time Grammy-nominated, Glen Washington and 10+ bands and artists on two major stages in the beautiful center of Palm Coast, FL.
With the major partnership with Injury attorney Vasilaros Wagner, Fresh Concepts ( Corey Morris ), and our non-profit OFAAT Inc (One Family At A Time), we will continue to support families and take care of our community! With our third-year Island fest, we were able to renovate a building space to open a grocery store named Nirvad for the Demosthene family out of Haiti. With the help of our sponsored partners R&K Roofing, ABA Connection, VidaCam, Tropical me transport, Sylvain’s Caribbean restaurant, Elite commercial cleaning service, and Stoughton Duran. We installed a filtration system on the roof to provide clean water for the community that had to travel miles for clean water. With the fourth year of Island fest, we were able to update the filtration system and install a shelve system and appliances.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some of our obstacles early on were weather issues. Of course, the weather is unpredictable and the weather wasn’t in our best favor. This caused the event to have to be postponed and in the second year, we canceled our day 2 festival event.

Flygame Music specializes in event coordinating and marketing promotions. What sets us apart from others is we are a diverse entity. What we are most proud of is the growth that we’ve seen throughout the years. What started out as a hobby with friends grew into a full-blown marketing brand. How do you think about happiness?
I love being around my family of 5. and traveling for sports and other activities.
