Inspiring Conversations with Robert Gutierrez of Victor’s Body Shop

Today we’d like to introduce you to Robert Gutierrez. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Victor Gutierrez, the founder of Victor’s Body Shop, started his business back in 1989 in his backyard and quickly began to expand his operations. After outgrowing several shops on the Westside, he purchased his current location on Lenox Ave in 2003.

He taught his three sons the trade as they grew up, and they would help him during their summer breaks. Now his three sons continue in his footsteps in their dedication to serving the Jacksonville community with excellent quality and customer service.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road. One of our main struggles has been finding skilled technicians to keep up with the demand for collision repairs. This demand has only intensified after COVID.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are a collision and paint shop. We fix anything from small scratches to hard-hit collisions. We work with all insurance companies. We are a family-owned and operated business and we make sure our customers feel like they are part of our family.

Our customers would describe us as warm and friendly with a dedication to delivering top-quality work.
