Inspiring Conversations with Patti Brannon of B Togs & Co

Today we’d like to introduce you to Patti Brannon.

Hi Patti, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey began with a love for timeless style and a profound commitment to community. I founded B Togs & Co as a lifestyle and activewear brand rooted in the belief that what we wear should support how we live — beautifully, actively, generously, and with intention.

What makes the brand especially meaningful to me is that it carries the legacy of my mom. Her influence — her grace, warmth, and belief in showing up for others — is woven into everything we do. What started as a creative idea inspired by her pink-lipstick golf mnemonic grew into something real thanks to the encouragement of my husband, Tim, who supported me in taking that first leap and continues to be a true partner in the business.

Today, B Togs & Co blends fashion, function, and philanthropy, allowing me to support causes close to my heart while building something lasting, purposeful, and fun.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of the biggest challenges has been navigating growth while staying true to my values. Like many founders, I’ve faced moments of uncertainty — from rebranding to supply-chain decisions — where the easier path wasn’t necessarily the right one.

I’ve learned that resilience often looks like patience: listening carefully, asking questions, and being willing to pivot when something no longer aligns. Those moments have ultimately strengthened both the business and my confidence as a leader and community partner.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
B Togs&Co is a lifestyle apparel brand rooted in legacy and purpose. Style that builds community, we are a mission-driven company committed to making a difference, showing up beautifully, giving generously, and living actively. Join the journey, become a Togger!

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t view success as a matter of luck. I believe life unfolds through purposeful steps — effort, perseverance, and the willingness to learn from both good decisions and mistakes.

When you stay grounded in your values and remain open to what’s placed in front of you, opportunities tend to reveal themselves. I see that as intention meeting preparation, not chance.
