I began my journey in the medical field, working in dermatology for over seven years. That’s where I discovered my true passion for skincare not just the beauty side, but the science behind the skin and how it functions. I became a certified dermatology technician and later a licensed medical aesthetician because I wanted to take everything I had learned and create a space that focused on both results and a personalized experience. Over time, I realized I had a greater purpose: helping women feel confident in their skin not just for a day, but for life. That vision inspired me to open my own practice here in Jacksonville. Today, I specialize in corrective skincare, offering treatments such as facials, microneedling, dermaplaning, enzyme peels, and more. My focus is always on skin health and long term results. Being bilingual also allows me to connect with more women in my community, making skincare approachable, inclusive, and accessible. Glowing Skin Solutions has been built on trust, results, and relationships and I’m so grateful for the path that brought me here.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When you start a business, you’re going to face challenges, but what matters most is staying persistent. There will be moments when things don’t go as planned, and that’s okay. One of the advantages of being a business owner is that you’re in control and can decide how to move forward. To be honest one of the biggest challenges for me in the beginning building a consistent client base. Growing a loyal clientele takes time, patience, and consistent effort. I’ve had to put myself out there, stay visible, and build trust within my community. Another challenge was realizing that school prepares you to perform treatments, but it doesn’t prepare you for the business side of things. No one teaches you how to handle taxes, keep track of inventory, or manage all the behind the scenes responsibilities. Those are lessons you learn along the way. I’ve spent countless hours studying, learning, and improving not just my services, but how I market, connect, and grow as a business owner. It’s been a journey full of lessons, but one I’m fully committed to.

I educate my clients, give them tools to care for their skin at home, and create long-term results they can feel confident about.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Over the next 5–10 years, I believe the skincare industry will continue shifting toward a deeper focus on skin health rather than quick fixes or temporary trends. People are becoming more educated about the science of skincare, and they want treatments and products that truly deliver results not just what looks good on social media. I also see a rise in personalized, corrective treatments tailored to each client’s unique skin needs, instead of one size fits all approaches. Advanced technologies and science-backed skincare lines will continue to play a huge role in helping clients achieve long term results. Another big change will be the emphasis on prevention clients won’t just come in to “fix” problems anymore, but to invest in consistent care that protects and maintains their skin health over time. Overall, I see the industry moving toward a more holistic, results driven, and client empowering approach and that’s exactly where I want Glowing Skin Solutions to lead.
