Inspiring Conversations with Dillon Robles of Pelican Pools

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dillon Robles.

Hi Dillon, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Pelican Pools was started in 2019. We wanted to have a business that emphasized on doing the right thing for clients and giving the best service possible. We started out small but over time, we grew through referrals by setting realistic expectations and following through. Today, Pelican Pools is a family-run business built on transparency, accountability, and steady growth. We run the business as a family, with each person specializing in different aspects of the business. My brother Mathew is the head of all operations, while I handle sales and design work. My mother Carrie handles everything on the back end which includes permitting and finances.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
In any business you will always have ups and downs. When we first stared out, we needed to learn new systems for construction, understand the best pathways for permitting and inspections, and the best way to communicate clearly and concisely to our clients.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Pelican Pools is a licensed and insured fiberglass pool installation company serving Palm Coast and surrounding Central Florida areas. We handle the entire process—from initial consultation and permitting through installation and final walkthrough. As a family-run business, we focus on clear communication, realistic timelines, and delivering a well-managed project from start to finish.

I handle client consultations, site visits, and early project planning. I’m usually the first point of contact for homeowners, helping them understand fiberglass pool options, timelines, permitting considerations, and what to expect from start to finish. Once a project moves forward, I work closely with Mathew to make sure everything we’ve discussed is executed properly in the field.
