Hi Bridget , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
From a young age, I was always the “go-to girl” for décor, parties, and travel in my family — the one who could take any space or occasion and turn it into something beautiful. My dream had always been to have a career in public speaking, but as life unfolded, I became a mom, worked full-time as a nurse, and those dreams took a back seat.
Everything changed the day my uncle passed away unexpectedly at just 48 years old. My grandmother was devastated and unable to focus on the funeral details, including finding someone to deliver his eulogy. I volunteered to do it — I wrote every word from the heart, stood before my family, and spoke with love and strength. The response was overwhelming. The funeral home staff even offered me a job afterward.
That moment sparked something in me. I sat down and asked myself, “What can I do that brings people peace, joy, and a smile during life’s most meaningful moments?” In Florida, if you can officiate weddings, you can also become a notary — so I did just that. I earned my notary commission, took additional courses, joined an incredible community through the American Marriage Ministries, and Blooming Bliss Ceremonies, Events & Notary was born.
What started as a calling has grown into a true passion. Every ceremony, event, and couple I work with reminds me that I’m walking in my purpose — spreading light, love, and joy through moments that matter most. This isn’t just a job to me — it’s my ministry, my passion, and my purpose.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing about this journey has been smooth — especially starting out fresh with no clients, no website, and no reviews. It was all built on faith, hustle, and pure word-of-mouth. There were times I questioned if I was really cut out for entrepreneurship, but giving up was never an option.
Fast forward to today — three years in the industry and one year as a fully established LLC — and I can proudly say I’ve built something real from the ground up. My inventory has grown beyond what I could’ve imagined, my brand presence continues to expand, and every single client has helped me grow stronger and sharpen my skills for the next one.
It hasn’t been easy, but every challenge has been a lesson, and every setback has been fuel to keep pushing. Blooming Bliss is living proof that with consistency, passion, and purpose, you can bloom through anything. 🌻

What started as a passion project to bring smiles and meaning to people’s most special moments has now evolved into a one-stop experience for unforgettable celebrations.
We’re known for creating events that feel intentional, beautiful, and deeply personal — whether it’s an intimate elopement, a large-scale wedding, or a community celebration. My goal is always to take the stress off my clients so they can be fully present in the moment, trusting that every detail is handled with care and creativity.

Looking ahead, my vision for Blooming Bliss is all about growth, impact, and community. I’m working toward owning my own venue space — a place where creativity, celebration, and connection can flourish under one roof. Having my own event venue has been a dream since day one, and it’s something I’m actively manifesting and planning for.
In addition to expanding my inventory and adding more unique rental options, I’m passionate about continuing community outreach through local events, fundraisers, and empowerment initiatives. Blooming Bliss isn’t just about weddings and décor — it’s about creating meaningful experiences that bring people together and give back to the communities that have supported me from the start.
