Inspiring Conversations with Bradley Williams of BW Home Inspections

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bradley Williams.

Bradley, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Started doing home inspections 7 years ago. Have knowledge and experience in carpentry and electrical contracting. When I moved downtown to Jacksonville, I decided, I wanted a change.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Has not always been a smooth road, struggled my first year and a half of home inspections. Almost quit, I was going to tell my wife that I was going to quit and start searching for another job. I decided to try different approaches that weren’t typical market strategies. Started getting in with better agents and brokerages that had the same views as me which made my job a lot easier.

As you know, we’re big fans of BW Home Inspections. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Most importantly the reason where I am today is because of God and second my wife without them I would not have lasted this long in the business. I am thankful that I can go to work every day and be in the position I am in to grow and to help people in my job.

My company strives to be the best in every aspect of the industry with the newest and best forms of home inspections and technology. We are constantly striving to be better than we were yesterday to make sure we provide the potential customer with the best knowledge in if they should move forward with the house or walk away. We build relationships and trust with customers and agents over the past 7 years that has lead us to sustain and grow a business with a marketing budget of next to zero dollars a month.

Over 15 years the construction business provides the customer gives customers confidence in picking BW Home Inspections. Every house is different and every house has a story. Thankful for the opportunities that I have been given.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Starting out it is important to have someone that will be willing to take the time to show you the ropes. I have helped 10 home inspectors so far getting into the business and most of them have turned out to be awesome home inspectors.

It is a very hard business to get into, people see the money but do not see the work put into it. I shadowed someone for a couple of months and he helped me so much, very thankful for the time that he gave to me.
