Hi Willie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
When I first started out I wanted to do music something behinds the scenes music producer only thing I could not read music but could understand a beat. I would have been like Nick Canon on drumline he didn’t know how to read music but understood the beats. So I was like no I don’t feel like going through a beginner class. I shifted over to photography and began to understand taking pictures and some can be outside of the box when doing portraits or family sessions and the list goes on.
BigRed Photography started as a simple idea — What began as a personal need grew into a passion for capturing real moments in a natural, observant, and organic way of someone everyday life.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road but you have to keep pushing no matter what. You are going to hear the No’s or you can’t do that or you may not get the calls back you want. Just remember GOD always there for you. Talk to him and things will come in place for you.

My style is simplistic yet intentional — always authentic, always grounded in truth. I’m based in Jacksonville , Florida, and while I specialize in portraiture, I’ve also covered assignments for Big County Preps and FNF High School Football Magazine. But no matter the subject, my goal remains the same: to capture people in their most natural state — full of love, joy, strength, and connection.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up I wanted to be a police officer and at times I still do but that has passed me by and went to being a photographer and that was a really good thing because of meeting other photographer and seeing things outside of the box when taking pictures of learning new ideas.
