Hi Latrisha, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Developing people has always been my purpose, long before the titles, boardrooms, or business. During my primary school years, I mentored classmates and encouraged others to see their potential. A defining moment came in high school when a peer thanked me for inspiring him to take academics more seriously, and that’s when I realized the impact I could have.
I carried that purpose into a 25-year corporate career, including leadership roles at Aflac and now JPMorgan Chase. While I’ve led teams and delivered results, my greatest impact has always been developing people.
In 2025, I launched Leading Achievers, LLC, transforming what I’ve done for years into a platform focused on helping individuals and teams grow, lead, and reach their full potential.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey hasn’t always been easy, but it has been meaningful. As an African American woman in technology and leadership, I’ve often navigated spaces where I was underrepresented, which required resilience, confidence, and adaptability.
Those experiences taught me that success isn’t just about capability, but more importantly, how you navigate people, environments, and expectations.
Stepping into entrepreneurship brought a different kind of growth. I had to shift from freely giving to confidently valuing my work. That experience strengthened my perspective and deepened my commitment to helping others recognize their own value.

I’m an avid reader, and much of my leadership foundation comes from my mentor, John C. Maxwell. His teachings on growth and intentional leadership have had a lasting impact on me.
I also enjoy podcasts like WorkLife with Adam Grant and Dare to Lead with Brené Brown, which offer valuable insights on leadership, behavior, and building meaningful work environments.
More than anything, I stay committed to continuous learning so I can continue adding value to others.
