Hi Jakirah , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve always had a thing for hair growing up, but not knowing exactly what I wanted to specialize in, I decided to go to school to figure it out and to learn more about hair. I clung onto Loxx or you may call them “dreads” or “dreadlocs” because of their “Exquisiteness”.
My main focus with Loxx is Loc care; the health of loxx, the do’s and don’ts, and what you and I can do to keep them healthy. I want to specialize in ALL forms of Loxx.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There were a few bumps in my road. It was more of a mental road for me from losing my job and depending on my business income, staying consistent, and building clientele.
The whole process is building my patience and confidence within my business journey.

The name of my business kind of just came to me while brainstorming and on name generators.
I’m a Cosmetologist but I specialize in Loxx (all types!), I also offer Natural hair Services.
What sets me apart from others is I care about your hair and I want to offer services to maintain the health of your hair and scalp, and to create a relaxing environment for my clients.
What I am most proud about my brand is actually starting and how far I came! I’m proud that my business is growing and I can see the growth little by little.
