Today we’d like to introduce you to Heidi Simos
Hi Heidi, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey with The Entrepreneur’s Source (TES) began in 2015, shortly after I was laid off from my position as a Campus President. At the time, I was burnt out from the grind of corporate life—reporting to a boss, working long hours, sacrificing flexibility, and navigating environments that often conflicted with my core values. I longed for a career that aligned with my passions and allowed me to live life on my own terms.
While exploring my options, I visited a Career Source Center, where I was introduced to a seasoned TES coach. Our conversation was enlightening, and I immediately felt a sense of hope and curiosity. As I learned more about The Entrepreneur’s Source—their mission to empower individuals, their values rooted in integrity and self-sufficiency, and the role of a Franchise Business Owner/Career Ownership Coach—I realized I had found not just a career but a calling. For the first time in a long time, I felt like I was on the path to building a life that truly aligned with who I was.
Since starting my career with TES, the experience has been nothing short of transformative. TES provides a proven system that delivers real results and a leadership team that offers unwavering support. With access to proprietary tools, resources, and ongoing training, I’m equipped to provide strategic, personalized coaching to individuals seeking to transition out of traditional careers and discover paths to entrepreneurship and financial independence.
Every day, I’m inspired by my clients—each on their unique journey of self-discovery and growth. I’m surrounded by a supportive community of like-minded coaches who genuinely care about making a difference, and I’m continuously challenged to grow both personally and professionally. Most importantly, I get to witness lives being transformed. Seeing clients move from uncertainty to clarity, and eventually to self-sufficiency, is a privilege I never take for granted.
Being a TES coach has allowed me to align my work with my purpose. There is no greater reward than knowing I am helping others build fulfilling, independent lives while living a life that brings me joy and fulfillment. For me, this isn’t just a career—it’s a lifelong mission to inspire and empower others to achieve what they never thought possible.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like any career, there will always be hurdles along the way, which are designed to help us learn and grow. The greatest obstacles I have faced as a coach often center around guiding clients through their fears and uncertainties. Many individuals I work with are exploring entrepreneurship for the first time, and their doubts about leaving behind the security of a traditional job can be overwhelming. Helping them navigate this fear of the unknown and build confidence in their ability to succeed has been both challenging and rewarding.
Another significant challenge is managing expectations. Some clients enter the coaching process with preconceived notions or unrealistic timelines for success. It requires a delicate balance of empathy and honesty to help them realign their expectations while keeping them motivated.
Lastly, maintaining resilience as a coach has been a learning experience. Not every client is ready to take the leap, and it can be challenging to see someone walk away from an opportunity you know could change their life. However, staying focused on what’s best for them and trusting the process is key.
These challenges have ultimately strengthened my skills and deepened my understanding of the coaching journey, making me more effective in supporting my clients’ growth and transformation.
As you know, we’re big fans of The Entrepreneur’s Source. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
At The Entrepreneur’s Source, we specialize in Career Ownership Coaching®, helping individuals take control of their professional futures by exploring entrepreneurship. We provide free, no-obligation coaching to help people assess their career trajectories, uncover possibilities they may not have considered, and determine if business ownership is the right path for them.
What sets us apart? We don’t sell businesses—we guide individuals through self-discovery. Unlike traditional career coaching or franchise brokers, we focus on helping clients identify their goals, needs, and desired lifestyle before exploring potential business models that align with their vision. I am most proud of the transformational journeys I witness every day—clients moving from uncertainty to confidence, discovering new possibilities, and achieving self-sufficiency and financial freedom through business ownership.
For those seeking an alternative to the corporate grind or looking to build a future with more control, flexibility, and fulfillment, we offer a supportive, educational, and empowering process—not sales pressure. Our goal is simple: to help people discover what’s possible in a safe learning environment.
