Hi Dana O., so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I began my real estate career after navigating the homebuying process between the ages of 19 and 23, an experience that revealed how often buyers and owners are expected to make life-shaping decisions without adequate guidance or education. That early exposure to the gaps in access and understanding shaped my professional direction. I purchased my first home at 23 and my first investment property at 28, which reinforced my belief that real estate, when approached strategically, can create stability, opportunity, and long-term wealth.

Over the past 20 years, I have built my career as a Real Estate Advisor focused on education, advocacy, and intentional decision-making. In 2015, I founded Province Realty Group to create an advisory-led firm designed to serve residential, luxury, commercial, and investment clients with precision and care. Today, as CEO, I lead a boutique real estate advisory serving Florida and Georgia, working with individuals, families, investors, and commercial clients across all demographics. While I remain deeply committed to advancing women’s access to ownership and wealth through education and mentorship, our work is inclusive by design, helping clients make informed real estate decisions that support sustainable growth, community stability, and generational legacy.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey has been intentional, but not without challenge. Early obstacles to homeownership revealed how difficult it can be to navigate housing without proper guidance, which shaped my commitment to helping others move through the process with clarity and confidence.

As my career progressed, I faced the realities of entrepreneurship, building business acumen, leadership capacity, and operational discipline in an industry that rarely teaches those skills. Through mentorship, continued education, and consistency, I strengthened those areas and ultimately founded Province Realty Group to create an advisory-led firm rooted in education, advocacy, and service. That calling, to help others navigate real estate with intention and understanding, has remained the driving force behind every stage of my work.

Real estate is often framed as a leap of faith; we view it as a series of informed decisions. Our advisory model is built on data, experience, and scenario planning, so clients are never guessing, they’re making informed decisions.

The most meaningful risks we’ve taken have been strategic, not speculative: prioritizing long-term advisory relationships over short-term transactions, and advocating for clients to slow down, restructure, or walk away when the numbers or timing don’t align. That approach requires conviction, but it’s how wealth is protected and built over time. To us, real risk isn’t making a move, it’s making one without insight, counsel, and a clear plan forward.
