Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Burget.
Hi Christina, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey into entrepreneurship really began after a life-changing season. Following my breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, I found myself looking at everything differently: my time, my priorities, and the kind of impact I wanted to make. That experience strengthened my resilience and gave me clarity about building something meaningful and sustainable.
After recovery, I spent time working alongside small business owners and noticed something consistent. They understood that marketing was necessary. They valued visibility. But they often didn’t have the time or a clear direction for what to create, what to post, or how to structure their efforts in a way that made sense long term.
That realization became the foundation for The Mac B. Agency.
What started as helping business owners create content and build websites has evolved into something more strategic. Over time, I saw that the real opportunity wasn’t just in posting or designing, it was in alignment. Businesses needed their brand messaging, website, visibility, and systems to work together instead of functioning separately.
Today, The Mac B. Agency operates around a structured 2 Pillar Framework brand and marketing strategy paired with systems and implementation. My goal is to help businesses move beyond simply “being present” online and instead build intentional, structured growth.
Breast cancer reshaped how I look at life and leadership. It reinforced the importance of resilience, perspective, and building strong foundations. Those values now shape how I approach every client relationship and every growth plan we create.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road, but I’ve come to appreciate that growth rarely is.
Like many entrepreneurs, I started by saying yes to almost everything. In the early days, I focused on delivering what clients asked for, building websites, managing social media, and running campaigns, without always stepping back to define a clear structure behind it. That phase taught me a lot, but it also came with long hours and the pressure of wearing too many hats.
Another challenge was learning how to shift from being the person who “gets the work done” to being the one who leads strategy. That transition requires confidence, clarity, and sometimes the willingness to raise your standards, including saying no to opportunities that aren’t the right fit.
Personally, navigating business after breast cancer also changed my perspective. It made me more intentional with my time and more thoughtful about the kind of company I wanted to build. There were moments of rebuilding physically, emotionally, and professionally, but those moments strengthened my resilience.
Looking back, the challenges were necessary. They shaped the structure we have today and reinforced my belief that sustainable growth in life and in business comes from clarity, boundaries, and strong foundations.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about The Mac B. Agency?
The Mac B. Agency is built around one simple belief: marketing should feel clear, structured, and intentional, not overwhelming. We work with service-based businesses that know visibility matters, but don’t always have the time or internal structure to connect all the pieces.
What sets us apart is how we approach growth. Instead of focusing only on tactics like posting content or launching ads, we start with alignment. Through our 2 Pillar Framework, we bring together brand and marketing strategy with the systems that support it. When those two areas work together, marketing becomes more focused and sustainable.
Over the years, we’ve become known for helping businesses move from “doing all the things” to building something cohesive. That might mean refining messaging, restructuring a website, or aligning follow-up systems so leads aren’t lost. It’s less about doing more and more and more about doing the right things in the right order.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the clarity we’ve grown into. The business has evolved from simply executing tasks to building structured foundations for long-term growth. Resilience and intentionality are woven into everything we do.
I want readers to know that marketing doesn’t have to feel chaotic. With the right structure in place, growth can feel steady and purposeful, and that’s what we aim to help businesses create.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something that often surprises people is that my background is in logistics. Before focusing fully on marketing and business strategy, I worked in an environment where organization, coordination, and efficiency were critical. In logistics, you’re constantly identifying breakdowns, anticipating obstacles, and finding practical solutions to keep everything moving.
That experience shaped how I think. I naturally look at a business and see patterns where the disconnect is happening, where momentum is slowing down, and what needs to be realigned. It’s not just about being organized; it’s about seeing a problem and building a structured solution to overcome it.
Marketing, in many ways, is just logistics applied to brand and growth. Messaging, visibility, lead capture, and follow-up are all moving parts. If one piece is off, the whole system feels strained. My strength is in seeing how those pieces connect and building a full-circle strategy that keeps everything working together.
