Today we’d like to introduce you to Zoe Randazzo
Hi Zoe, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve struggled with my skin and acne for as long as I can remember. As a teenager I was told that I’d grow out of my acne and it would clear up when I’m an adult… unfortunately it did the exact opposite for me. In my late teens/early 20’s my skin broke out in severe acne that was physically painful. I tried crazy amounts of skincare products and treatments that just ended up ruining my skin barrier and making my acne worse. I got to a point where I was mentally exhausted and was desperate for answers on how to help my skin so I made the decision to go to Esthetics school. During this time I found a Face Reality Acne Expert in my area and she helped me transform my skin that I did not think was possible. After healing my acne, I knew I wanted to be an Acne Specialist and help others with their skin.
About six months after I graduated esthetics school in Washington state, my husband and I relocated to Jacksonville on military orders. Within a week of our big cross country move I decided I was going to open up my own esthetics business with a focus on acne revision and corrective skincare treatments for all skin concerns.
I am now a double certified Acne Specialist through Face Reality and recently celebrated Monarch Skin Therapy’s one year anniversary back in July 2024! It has turned into something bigger than I could have ever imagined and I am so thankful for all of my clients who trust me with their beautiful faces.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It takes a special kind of person to be a business owner, especially if you’re solo like me. There are moments where it can feel overwhelming because there is no delegating tasks to other employees, I am the one who has to make sure everything is in order for the business to continue to run smoothly. However, my clients keep me sane! There’s no greater feeling than to have a client text me saying how their skin is looking the best it has in years or when a client comes into the treatment room with tears in her eyes saying she doesn’t feel like she has to hide her skin behind makeup anymore. Things like that keep me going.
We’ve been impressed with Monarch Skin Therapy, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Monarch Skin Therapy is a small, intimate space where you can truly come as you are. Where you can find the results you’ve been looking for and also the relaxation you deserve.
I specialize in Acne but offer a variety of other services like Dermaplaning, Procell Microchanneling, Hydrofacials, Chemical Peels, and more! I have a wide variety of clientele who I help with hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, rosacea, acne scarring, dryness/oiliness, and maintaining healthy skin. For my acne clients, I have an acne program called Acne Bootcamp where I take a holistic approach to help them get clear and stay clear. This program can be done in person or virtually!
What makes Monarch Skin Therapy different is the atmosphere I create for my clients. You do not have to go to a medical spa with bright lights and no relaxation in order to get results. I create a serene space that allows my clients to forget about the world and truly divulge in self care while getting the skin of their dreams.
I offer free in person and virtual consultations for anyone who is unsure what is best for their skin type and concern! I love giving the tools to help others make educated decisions for their optimal skin health.
