Exploring Life & Business with Leonardo Padua Jr. of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leonardo Padua Jr.

Hi Leonardo, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
So, I’m 20 years old during the midst of the Corona Virus Pandemic and I’m taking that big leap of faith toward my Real Estate career by beginning my 63-hour pre-licensing.

My mind was completely focused on one thing getting the pre-licensing done so I could take the state exam pass it and begin my Real Estate journey.

My first year in the business was difficult I was new in the middle of covid and at 20 years old not having any friends who could afford to buy a home played a lot of challenges since my sphere of influence was limited to rentals but that was okay with me.

My belief from the very start was not doing Real Estate for the money, I have a real passion for it so no matter if you’re renting an apartment for 2,000 or buying a home for 20,000,000 I would treat both clients the same and deliver them the absolute best service.

I was an agent in South Florida for almost a year and a half and now I’m a realtor here in North East Florida and I’m just beginning to establish myself here but I do transactions in both North & South Florida I think that’s what gives me a competitive edge honestly.

I’m currently en route to doing $1,000,000 in sales in the next two months and I have plans of becoming an architect/developer in the near future so, the future holds a lot of excitement for me.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My age. Lack of experience. Establishing myself. Sphere of influences purchasing ability. Adjusting to constantly changing economic conditions. Finances.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I’m a proud forever agent for the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices office down in the Avondale office located at 3627 St Johns Ave, Jacksonville, FL, 32205. I’m a Real Estate agent/Realtor who specializes in investment real estate and waterfront residential Real Estate in both North & South Florida.

I’m known for being the guy who goes to extreme lengths and gets his clients the results they desire. My methods are very unorthodox but people see my passion for what I do and always recognize my commitment to them.

What sets me apart from others is I’m willing to do what other people aren’t willing to do, I think outside the box in ways to get people excited about purchasing a home or an investment property and present real estate as more than just a “home”.

The thing I’m the proudest of brand-wise is our global recognition as a company known for integrity, trust, and always exceeding clients’ expectations I will personally never leave the company and the brand.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices is the forever brand and I will always be a forever agent.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I think the real estate in FL is headed for massive growth over the next 5-10 years. In North East Florida, I see a place with limitless potential that is improving year in and year out I’ve noticed the massive growth in only six months and it’s astonishing.

I believe property values here will continue to increase and have massive appreciation over the next couple of years with a very competitive market only continuing to get more and more competitive not only for agents but for buyers as well.

South Florida is a different animal that market is only going to rise in value, especially in Miami Made County, I foresee a lot of Floridians from South Florida moving up to North East Florida due to the cost of living rising at such rapid rates.
