Exploring Life & Business with Kristiana Brush of Sunshine State of Mind & Body

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristiana Brush.

Hi Kristiana, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
when I graduated massage school almost 10 years ago, I said to myself “I will never run my own business“ welp, never say never!!

I’ve worked for chiropractors, gyms to even top spas in the country and in the world at the time (The Lodge at Woodloch, Hawley PA)

Before starting my own business, I was running a business without the actual title. So I decided it was time to put on my boss woman pants, and start my own business.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have been very blessed to have the clients that I do to make my transition from my previous office to my new office at Studio Sage a very smooth transition.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Sunshine State of Mind & Body?
i’m a licensed massage therapist who specializes in therapeutic massages. The way I describe my type of massage is I use deeper pressure on the areas you would like me to focus on and lighter pressure on the areas that you do not want me to focus on. My clients described me as a tiny but mighty!

What sets me apart from other massage therapist is I used to be a IFBB pro bikini competitor so knowing how all the muscles work together, I can design a treatment plan for your specific needs.

What I am most proud of is how a dream I never thought would actually be one of my dreams has came true. I am running a very successful massage, business and love meeting, new people and helping them feel better. I have always said I wanted to help people but fear blood and guts so this is my way of helping people.

Sunshine State of Mind & Body is a lifestyle!! getting regular massages can help you physically but also emotionally. Getting regular biweekly or monthly massages can help with dopamine, seratonin and endorphin production and help lower cortisol levels. Booking with me is easy, you can find me on an app called Booksy.

What’s next?
One day i would love to open my own studio
