Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaylen Greene. They and their team shared their story with us below:
Jaylen Greene, age 15, founded Shot By La Bandz. In June 2022, Jaylen began to pursue his photography business from his home base in Jacksonville. In addition to shooting the Marching 100 of the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, Bethune Cookman’s Marching Wildcats, and 14K Gold Dancers, Jaylen has also had the chance to capture occasions such as baby showers, parties, sporting events, and more.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it has not. It has been full of Loses and Wins, but mainly I’ve always been taught to keep my head high no matter what, and I will continue to do that throughout this road we call photography.
Who else deserves credit for your story?
My mother! She was driving me to the events, places, and photo shoots, and yeah, special thanks to Trae “shot.traeway”; he helped me with learning my camera and everything I’ve done to this day.
