Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Adams
Hi Andrea, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Unleashing the Power Within: A Journey from Silence to Voice
When you hear the phrase, “Tell us your story,” what emotions does it stir in you? For me, it brings a smile—because the journey I’ve traveled from silence to empowerment is one that I now embrace with open arms. As a child, trauma muted my voice. I was afraid—afraid to speak up, afraid of judgment, and afraid of being truly seen. But that fear no longer defines me. Today, I stand before you as a woman who has found her voice and helps others, especially young people, to find theirs. I am a certified Mindset, Communication, and Relationship coach, and my purpose is clear: to empower youths to build powerful relationships with themselves, transforming how they communicate and connect with others.
Through my organization, Global Kids Speak LLC, I have created a space for young minds to flourish. Whether through public speaking classes, creative writing, etiquette, or reading sessions, the foundation of everything I teach is simple—communication. The ability to articulate one’s thoughts and emotions effectively is key to unlocking endless potential, and it’s my mission to equip young people with that skill.
So, how did I get here?
My own journey began when I decided to no longer be afraid of my story. Along the way, I’ve immersed myself in personal growth, drawing on experiences that taught me to embrace challenges as lessons. My “Power Voice” was first ignited under the mentorship of the legendary Les Brown, whose guidance helped me see the profound impact of owning and using my voice. This was further enriched by the mentorship of Jon Talarico, whose “Thinking Into Results” methodology empowered me to focus on transformation, both in myself and in those I mentor. Additionally, I’ve had the privilege of being mentored by Michael Silvers at The Mentor Studio, expanding my knowledge of effective leadership and impactful communication.
My passion for advocacy runs deep. As a mother, a multi-best-selling author, and the founder of Adornami LLC and co-founder od RAW Moss LLC, I pour my heart into every project I undertake. But it’s not just about business or accolades—it’s about making a difference. That’s why I also support A21.org, an organization fighting to end modern-day slavery and human trafficking, a cause close to my heart.
At the core of my work is the belief that when we teach children to speak, to express themselves authentically, and to listen deeply, we give them the keys to building amazing relationships with others. Communication is more than just words—it’s connection, understanding, and empathy. Through Global Kids Speak LLC, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing countless young people transform. I watch them grow not only in their ability to speak publicly but also in how they see themselves.
I invite you to join me on this journey of growth, empowerment, and change. Connect with me through my podcast, “B.A.B.B.L.E With Me,” or through my various projects like The KEG Book Club, and explore how communication can transform your relationships and your life.
The power to change lives, including your own, begins with one thing—finding your voice. And trust me, that is a story worth telling.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Here is a maieutic. Is smooth possible with growth? Growth is increase. Increase means to change size. Change cannot be smooth. Physically. mentally nor emotionally. At 45 years old Ive never met an unchallenged successfull being. So yes there was struggles, there are current struggles and I expect more struggles to come along the way. I embrace the struggles because they help me to grow. Some of the obstacles I faced were childhood trauma, failed marriages and financial insecurities and more. Its been a bumpy road.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Global Kids Speak Oratory Club is my heart project, born from a desire to empower the next generation of confident communicators and leaders. Established in 2021, our organization has become a cornerstone for developing public speaking skills in children from all corners of the globe. We operate as a virtual school, meeting online every Wednesday at 6:30 PM EST, making our platform accessible to students worldwide.
What sets Global Kids Speak apart is our commitment to providing real-world speaking opportunities for our young orators. While many public speaking courses focus on theory, we believe in practice, which is why our students have the chance to speak on public platforms, including radio and other forums, at least twice a year. This hands-on approach allows them to develop not only their speaking skills but also the confidence to stand tall in any room.
Our mission is holistic development. We are headquartered in the USA and pride ourselves on nurturing leadership qualities in children. Our mentors are highly qualified professionals who bring a deep sense of commitment and responsibility to their roles. They are dedicated to helping every child grow, not just in their ability to speak, but in their overall development as individuals and future leaders.
One of the highlights of our club has been hosting esteemed speakers such as former movie star and public speaking expert Star Bobatoon, veteran Sensei Dave Armstrong, and former NFL player Kristoffer Doura. Their insights and presence have added immense value to our students’ learning experience.
What I’m most proud of is witnessing the transformation in our students. Watching children who once hesitated to speak bloom into confident orators is the ultimate fulfillment. Our program is about more than public speaking—it’s about equipping young minds with the tools to lead, communicate effectively, and thrive in any environment.
I want your readers to know that Global Kids Speak Oratory Club isn’t just another extracurricular activity—it’s a life-changing experience for children, one that builds confidence, nurtures leadership, and opens doors to a brighter future. We welcome all children to join us in this empowering journey.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was a very introverted child. I spent a lot of time in my own world, dreaming of becoming a pilot, a ballerina, and even a supermodel! I was born in Guyana, South America, but migrated to Barbados at a young age. My dreams were big, but they were shaped by the financial limitations I faced. I don’t have many memories of owning new clothes, and while life was comfortable when my parents were together, things changed after their separation. I was sent to live with different family members, and that experience shaped much of who I became. Despite the challenges, those early dreams and experiences instilled in me a sense of resilience and imagination that still fuels me today.
