Hi Nikki, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Have you ever walked through hardship only to realize it was a hidden gift — an invitation to grow, to evolve, to return to yourself?
I’ve faced that journey many times. After the birth of my second child many years ago, even amidst the joy, I felt a heaviness I couldn’t ignore — a quiet call from within. Life’s demands had left me feeling depleted and disconnected, and I knew I needed something deeper.
Trusting my intuition, I turned to Reiki. In its gentle, healing energy, I found clarity, balance, and a sense of coming home to myself. That first step led me to become a certified Usui Reiki Master — a path that transformed not only how I healed, but how I live.
In time, I was drawn to Sound Healing, a practice that had supported me for years in my own self care. The union of Reiki and sound felt deeply aligned — a powerful blend of energy and vibration that awakened something within me. I became a certified Sound Healer, inspired to share this healing fusion with others at Whispering Heart Space.
Now, it’s my joy to offer this work to my community — a space for restoration, connection, and transformation.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey has been a blend of both smooth transitions and deeply uncomfortable moments. Recently, I relocated my family from Southern California to the Jacksonville area—a move that came with its share of challenges. Rebuilding our sense of community and relaunching my business wasn’t easy. But with heartfelt intention, I trusted Reiki to guide me through the unknown. By leading with openness and authenticity, I’ve found myself surrounded by some of the most beautiful souls—an experience I’m endlessly grateful for.
Over the past 11 years, deepening my connection with Reiki has been nothing short of fascinating. This path has brought tremendous growth and transformation, unfolding in different ways at various stages of life.
Working with energy and leveling up spiritually often brings moments that require deep introspection. These experiences can feel raw, vulnerable, and uncomfortable—but they are also profoundly necessary.
Through this process, you begin to find balance, and with that comes wisdom, personal growth, and spiritual expansion. It’s about trusting your higher self and allowing divine alignment to unfold in its own perfect timing.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My passion is to help others reconnect with the sense of wholeness and inner wisdom that already exists within each of us. I use practices like Reiki, a gentle form of energy work that encourages relaxation and balance, and sound healing, which uses sound and vibration to support well-being and reduce stress. Whether I’m leading individual sessions, teaching, or blending these tools into a personalized healing experience, my focus is always on supporting balance and restoring harmony in mind, body, and spirit. Whispering Heart Space is more than just a practice—it’s a space for healing, growth, and meaningful connection.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Jacksonville has a great community of people into wellness, with yoga studios, meditation groups, metaphysical shops, and holistic healers all over. It’s a cool place to meet like-minded people and find what works for you.
Plus Jacksonville has so much Nature that has a way of reminding us that everything is connected—people, animals, trees, and water all part of one big system.
Although I can’t say I’m a fan of mosquitoes—they’re not exactly my favorite part of the region!”
