Today we’d like to introduce you to Larry Wilson.
Hi Larry, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always had a curiosity of things in general and food creation was one of those curiosities. I would always try different seasonings to enhance the flavor of the foods I enjoy, especially if I considered them bland and the creation Larry’s seasoned pickles were no different. One day while home watching a movie , I found myself going back and forth into the kitchen eating different snacks from fruits to popcorn and then I decided to get a few pickles. After returning to the movie and taking a bite of the pickles, I wasn’t satisfied due to the bland taste and wanted to wake up the flavor a bit, so I returned to the kitchen and grabbed a few different items in my attempt to add some flavor. After returning to my seat, I took a bite of the pickles and was amazed at how flavorful and delicious they were. Over the course of a few weeks, I mastered the recipe and would give them to friends and family at our gatherings however, a really good friend offered to buy a jar and that’s when I realized I had something more special that I realized. That was the beginning of what would be Larry’s seasoned pickles.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As with all businesses, I’ve definitely had my share of obstacles from having business not go as well as planned, broken promises and meetings that would for advancement that stalled for various reasons. Either way, we continue to work hard and make sure we stay consistent.

I own a say no more operate and barber shop and make, sell and ship my product throughout the country via my website.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
The short answer is yes however, the grass roots approach or word of mouth has worked great thus far.
