Today we’d like to introduce you to Enoch Da Prophet.
Hi Enoch, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started rapping when i was 8 years old i used to rap for all of my older cousins and friends and they were usually impressed. Thats when i knew i had a knack for this rap shit. My first rap name was LIL E, then as i got older i changed it to King Enoch but it sounded too generic so eventually i became Enoch Da Prophet and i haven’t looked back since.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No nothing worth having is easy if i said it has been a smooth road i would be lying. Im fully independent so any single, project or video that i have ever put out has come out of my own pocket. Some of the biggest struggles include balancing and managing time for creating music while simultaneously working, hustling, paying bills and maintaining relationships with no outside help.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Im a lyricist at my core i love bars punchlines, metaphors etc… i feel like my lyrical ability and subject matter is usually what sets me apart from others. I can freestyle on any beat you give me from off the dome and make it sound good. Im also a published author of a children’s book titled “The Alphabet is all around “ available on Amazon. And i am also the co-founder and owner of the clothing brand “Cardio Club”
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
No risk No reward you have to take risk and make sacrifices to get where you want to in life. I left my hometown in Jacksonville and moved to Miami when i was 17 to elevate my career and i have no regrets.
