Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I spent a lot of time with my grandparents back and forth as a military child. Every time we took a right turn and I would see the street sign reading “Honeysuckle Dr.”, I knew I was home.
Being at my grandparents always gave me a feeling of peace, happiness, and love. From the life lessons and “sayings”, to the good music. I knew I wanted everyone to have this feeling through my brand.
So I thought about items that people purchased to make them feel good within their “home” and how could I make whatever brought those same feelings I received on Honeysuckle Dr?
From this Honeysuckle Dr. (Home Fragrance and Decor)was created. Reaching my audience through the names of my items was the perfect solution for what I wanted to achieve within my brand. These titles include affirmations, “sayings”, and music. This is a brand that creates while thinking of the customers well being at the same time.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road was a little bumpy in the beginning I must admit.
Conveying my brand’s mission to my audience through my choice of products was challenging. I really had to really take my time and think outside of the box. Especially in such a saturated industry of fragrance and decor.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in hand-poured candles and fragrance mist (room and linen spray. I also offer a variety of home decor (pampas, palm leaf, custom arrangements).
As of late as a new brand I have been doing pop-ups and my room and linen sprays are a customer favorite! I am so proud that I was able to take a brand that not only sells customers an item but also has good vibes.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
I would of course have to say, my grandparents! I have been blessed to still have both sets of grandparents. They all have taught me so much growing up and even to this day. Their wisdom taught to me pours out through my brand.
